Envelope.

I had 6 orders delivered today - mostly vinyl records and a pair of boots. I was opening them right after the other and cut open a taped up envelope.

I didn't remember ordering something that small (I didn't) and it was taped up to high heaven. So many packages I was opening them one after the other.

Pills. At least 50 pink pills taped in a baggy. I didn't notice that there was no address on the package until after finding what I assume are drugs.

I called the cops and they're on their way.

FFS.

Wow. Careful.

The USPS guy showed up - I'm on my porch waiting for the cops - he forgot to deliver one more of my packages. I tlmd him what I found, showed him -- he said "it wasn't me. No address, Id take it back to the office." I told him the cops were on their way. Again denied dropping off said package and drove off.

I get medications from the VA and my wife's online pharmacy by FedEx and UPS, UPS never rings the doorbell. When I call them about it because I receive sensitive insulin, they claim they always ring the doorbell or knock. This drives me nuts.

Anyhow, you did the right thing calling the police.

Low priority -- they showed up 9 hrs later.

Before the officer showed up he said I had two options: he can come by and pick them up, or I can flush them.

I had him come pick them up. Quick research, my best guess is that they were oxycodone.

You had an opportunity to create giant sewer animals and you had them pick them up???? SMH.....

He probably kept them

Neither of these 2 fishy stories makes sense. The common thread is who's telling them. You.

Clear your conscience right here. Spill the beans.

You made only 3 errors.

Telling the police.
Telling the mailman.
Telling basketball fans on the internet.

Other than that, you handled this perfectly.

Mailman drops off packages - seven in total. Six on the first dropoff, seven after he returned with one he forgot.

Tan envelope is on top of the large pile of boxes.

I open the obvious boxes containing my vinyls -- One by one I open said boxes on my porch - including the envelope which was completely blank; Something that I didn't notice until after I found the pills. Like I said, I had seven boxes delivered, which I opened one after the other.

The photos I took were seconds after I cut open the envelope.

That's literally a play-by-play.

You aren't being clear enough, go into more detail. This is just too vague.

I threw away a whole bunch of oxycodone as well as a pint of morphine. That's before I learned of proper disposal. the oxycodone was originally for me but I developed a nausea to it. The morphine was for my mother-in-law when she came home to die of cancer but she didn't want any of it. All of it went down the toilet. The sewer eventually ends up in the Willamette, the same river Tualatin gets their drinking water from.

I can't take any more of this intensive second degree. He sold them to me. Damn, caught again.
