I hate how they have the women right before the main event too, just ain't right. And pretty much the only thing worth watching is the main events, back then the whole show was worth watching even the women matches. Even though I think the women wrestlers are better than in 1998, 99, 00.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>back then the whole show was worth watching even the women matches.</div>Are we talking the Sable days or the Alundra Blaze days in the WWF. But Yeah I think that period where they had Bull Nakano/Bertha Faye against Blaze or Madusa(whichever name you prefer) were pretty solid, especially when one King of the Ring they had female Puro wrestlers participating. The Sable days were like now, looks but I think women matches are far better these days. There were many botches in the Attitude era. But they also had some good wrestlers in Ivory and Jacqueline.

The only good Women Wrestlers are Mick James, Victoria, and Melina. Candice has improved but just doesn't cut it.

Beth Phoenix was impressive last week with her return. She has got some muscle on her.The Divas now are just sex symbols. WWE goes for looks over wrestling skill in the female wresters nowadays imo. I don't remember the last time I remember a good legit wrestling match

I the best womens match I nhave seen was the recent one I forogt which PPV but it was Trish's last match and she beat Lita with the sharpshooter

I was mostly talking about the bra and pantie matches and mud bad matches and all of that crap but both Ivory and Jac were good too.

40 minutes and they have had a total of 1 match on Raw. Haha man its so pathetic how much things have changed. I'm trying as hard as I can to get back into it but it just makes me wish it was the attitude era all over again. I know I'd hate to pay my money to see 3 matches the whole damn night.

haha wow thats unheard of...back in the attitude era though, I absolutely loved promos... I still go on youtube to this day and watch old promos. the rock, austin, hhh, jericho, angle, all guys who were amazing on the mic. I completely don't watch the wwe, I disbanded it back when the shows were splitting and there were different rosters and sh*t, it's so weird. boy do I wish the attitude era would come back

So ok, its been 1 hour and 11 minutes and so far we've had 2 matches, neither of them really worth watching and a whack slap fight between Booka and King. They keep talking about this damn Cena/Lashley match but I've yet to see either of them tonight, I don't even think they're there. Cena wasn't there last week so I'm just curious, what type of build of for this main event match is there going to be? I haven't heard anything yet on a main event match either but I guess things are going to pick up, there's a women's match next. Its a shame when those are the most entertaining thing of the night. I would turn my tv but sh*t there's nothing else on either.

Umm, Do they have Main Event Matches anymore?

I don't think I've watched a whole brand show all the way through in a long ass time. I quit watching the 2nd half of Raw and now I watch Hell's Kitchen in the first half(with commercial breaks serving time for Raw).sh*t is dull. I got to watch that Cody debut match. Wow, he got in one missile dropkick and some Billy Gunn like stomp punches. And I feel bad for Val Venis. I have to tell you, that guy can hit one of hell of a promo if they allowed him. And plus he can wrestle if given the opportunity. I'll never understand why he's in the positions he's in and stayed there. He could still be a star somewhere imo.Oh and just wondering for those wrestling fans on here, anyone like WWF before the Attitude Era, aka the Federation Era? Where gimmicks ran amok but we all loved em. LOD, Demolition, Bushwackers, Doink the Clown, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake the Snake, Rowdy Piper, Repo Man, Earthquake and Typhoon, Hart Foundation, Owen Hart, Big Boss Man, Sgt. Slaughter, Midnight Express, Rockers, Brutus Beefcake...could go on forever.

Best part was Codys missile drop kick

Trish and Lita were good, but everyone since then has been trash.

Its pretty much talking all night, they had 2 matches in the first hour and 3 in the second hour and probably only one was worth watching, mhm that was the girl's one. The first match with Hardy and Benjamin wasn't bad, Benjamin could be so good if they turned him into a heel and let him go by himself. And I'm tired of all these big guys like Snitchsky, Umaga and those type dudes going against nobodies, while Kennedy faces Super Krazy? Ha, the WWE needs some new effin writers.

SPOILER~~Source - PWInsider As we reported moments ago, Edge's "major announcement" regarding the WWE World Heavyweight championship title at tonight's SmackDown tapings is that he will be dropping the title due to suffering a torn pectoral muscle last week. Candidates to win the title are Mark Henry, Batista, or Matt Hardy. WWE could bring Rey Mysterio back and put the strap back on him immediately, but that would seem to be the most unlikely to happen.

If WWE writers had a clue, they wouldn't be pushing those pieces of crap and have talented wrestlers like Val and Crazy jobbing to them.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Source - PWInsider As we reported moments ago, Edge's "major announcement" regarding the WWE World Heavyweight championship title at tonight's SmackDown tapings is that he will be dropping the title due to suffering a torn pectoral muscle last week. I guess the injury is more serious than first reported. That sucks and I hope Hardy or Rey of the listed candidates get the title. Mark Henry shouldn't even be an option in WWE's minds. That guy can't carry a brand himself.

Well now I see kind why they don't have these guys wrestle 2 weeks before PPVs, none of them can stay healthy. Edge, HHH, Rey, Taker, and who else on the shelf? And Val could be good, I liked watching him back in the day but Super krazy or w/e his name is sucks.

If the choices are Mark Henry, Batista and Matt Hardy then Smackdown should have no world champion. Unless Vince turns into George Steinbrenner and over pays to bring back Chris Jericho the only "options" left are Kane and MVP :no3: The only good news is that without Edge I have no reason to even bother with Smackdown.

Smackdown has a curse or something. I'm really upset about Edge and this whole situation. I don't know what to think. Don't know why WWE think Mark Henry should be an option. That guy is not worthy one bit of being WHC. I bet they just pull that sombitch Batista back into this, which sucks. I didn't think Edge's injury was this big of a deal. He wrestled at Mania injured and I'm sure plenty more times. This could work and something big could happen. Like Edge could back from his injury and he would form a stable like he has been wanting to do for a year or so. Wait...this is WWE I'm talking about, they arent that bad ass any more

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I liked watching him back in the day but Super krazy or w/e his name is sucks.</div>That's super crazy!Crazy can wrestle, if they developed a better Cruiserweight division or a similar X-Division group, he'd highlight. He can be above the Mexicools/non English speaking spatting Super Crazy gimmicks.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The plan right now is that The Great Khali will win the WWE World championship on Smackdown once Edge vacates it due to his pectoral tear. Khali vs. Batista at the Great American Bash will be for the championship.</div>
