anyone going to see this movie? i definetly am. i love xmen and there is no way i will miss this one!
 
I heard it was horrible. But I'll see it.
 
I'm seeing it fosho. So many character though, like that crappy MK 2 movie. But still I think it should be alot better then the 2nd one I hope. Didn't like the fact in the 2nd movie the biggest threat was just a human. Like a lesser Lex Luthor flook.
 
Im gonna go see it tonight, my gf works at a theatre so we can see the screening
 
I thought the 2nd one was the best out of the series.
 
nah. the first one was definetly better IMO. the second was kind of confusing sometimes too
 
Definitely will be seeing this movie at some point this weekend.
 
They need to have more Halle Berry in this one. I was annoyed that X2 featured her so little.
 
^hell, i'm annoyed the movie is all, "wolverine and the X Men".
 
I agree. Is Wolverine even technically a mutant? I think that they changed his skeleton in a lab, its not genetic for him. Cyclops has always been my favorite for some reason, it would be great if they could focus more on some of the X-men other than Wolverine (Nightcrawler, Beast, Jubilee, Rogue, Gambit, etc).

Um yeah? Wolverine has healing powers, how else would he have those claws coming out without him bleeding to death? Catching X3 tomorow.

</div>Word. I was actually hoping Cyclops would have a bigger role in this year's film but i've heard he's actually got a smaller role this year.
 
Cyclops is so gay. He's all goody-goody and everything. Nowhere near as interesting as Wolverine, who's one of the best comic book characters. Plus the dude's from Canada

So? I've always been a fan of his. I also always really like Gambit who never gets any time in these movies. I could care less about the actor, to me its about the chracter.

Crappy actors usually trash the characters. Which is why Wolverine was probably the best movie character in the series since Hugh Jackman is actually a good actor.

I know, its just my opinion too. I'm talking about the character from the comics also. Always sucking up to Professor X. Gambit's awesome too. Its a shame their trying to appeal to a mainstream audience and neglecting the interesting stories behind all of the characters outside of Wolverine.

well, cyclops was always the main character in the cartoon series and the comics. so i was a bit surprised at first that he got so little screen time
 
I thought they messed up Magneto too. He's awesome in the comics. But in the movie they really stressed his old age for some reason. And his helmet looks gay. I also thought Sabertooth would have been a wicked character to develop against Wolverine, but he never even said a word. Yeea, I'm a big X-Men fan.
 
magneto should have been more evil IMO. and i think jean should be played by someone else. shes supposed to be hot.

Magneto was never really that evil in the comic book series. He was everything from a superhero, to antihero, to villain. Pretty much all comic book women are supposed to be hot, so I think they messed up some of casting too.
 
They didn't mess up. Famke Jannsen is beautiful, not hot. Jean wasn't really hot. I thought of her more as attrative and beautiful.

Yeah, I saw it last night. Kind of disappointed me, but a lot of that was due to the assholes I was sitting around. Some guy sitting next to me kept laughing at EVERYTHING, while the kids behind me kept going OHHHH whenever someone cursed.
 
Not as good as the second one, but I still enjoyed it....my guess is we might be seeing Sinister in the next movie, because if memory serves me correct I believe he came right after the Phoenix Saga....we might be seeing Gambit and Morph in the next one as well......but stay after the credits, because there's a little something extra at the end of the movie.

I KNOW proffesor X will be back, I think Jean will be back (because u can't kill the Phoenix that easy), and Cyclops will probably be back, because they never found his body.
 
^word. I know they'll be back, c'mon taking off Famke Jenkins & Patrick Stewart off the cast is really stupid. I'm actually hoping they hint the coming of apocalypse.. Now that would be great.
 
I've been waiting for the Apocalypse Saga. So far they've stuck with the Human vs. Mutant thing, which is interesting, but lacks the really crazy villains. Of course I haven't seen X3 yet, so who knows what I missed.
 
im seeing it next friday, so i cant wait. anyways, from all the reviews i have read, and from what i have heard from you guys, i dont think it will be that great of a movie. also, i heard somewhere that this was going to be the last movie of the saga?
