Im getting one for my birthday (December 24th)And I was wondering, are they what their hyped up to be, and any games you would recommend I get ?

Um Gears of war. Nba 2k7 . Call of Duty 2 or 3, IMO 2 is better. If your into football you can get madden Need 4 speed.

Get a 360 and get gears of war, going of what people say about it, that games the sh*t and is probally the best game to get for the 360 right now. If you're in for rpg type games, get oblivion, its a top seller for the 360 right now. Actually out of all the 360 games, it made the most, so going of by statistics, Oblivion is one of the best games to get. Another good game to get is call of duty 2 and 3. Theres others like Perfect dark zero, Fear and splinter cell double agent, but its your choice on what you want.

Well you got Gears of War and Call of Duty, those are good and must haves. Another good one would be Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, one of the better multiplayer games.It depends what you're into though.

You gotta get 2k7, im a huge nba live guy and I think 2k7 is the best bball game ever made. SO realistic its scary. Just watch kobe shoot in the game, I swear its real.

I found my Xbox today, by accident, I wish I hadn't it kinda ruined the surprise...I was looking for my basketball because I was bored and wanted to play but I found an xbox 360...Not bad

You're obviously a basketball fan since you're here, so you better get NBA 2K7. Other than that, get Gears of War. Those two games can and will hold you over for a LOONG time.EDIT : And yes, the 360 is all it's hyped up to be, plus more.
