^^^great trivia questions, Matts.

Thanks 59, :tiphat:

I'll let everyone take a crack at them, and post the Answers latter this afternoon, (before My mother in law visits).....

I used to say: "I've got the kinda' Mother In Law, I'd like to see Her face on the back of a Milk Carton." But that was decades ago; in Her elder age, She's become quit a treat.......!!

The last one is easy Rob, you gave it away with the Quote (Lefty Gomez) but the 1st 2 are tough.

You got it, I'm trying to keep the Q's simple, yet easy enough to know who each player was.

I'll give everyone a hint of the other two:

BOTH WERE MEMBERS OF - "MURDERS ROW."

Murderers Row I believe was from the mid to late 20s & I know both Gehrig & Ruth had career BA of well over 292 & there were only a few Yankees that appeared in 8 world series. So on the 1st one I'm going to guess Bill Dickey. The 2nd one, I have no idea.

...I guessed #1 and #3 correctly...but I missed #2, I guessed Red Ruffing.

Yep, good going guys:

1- Tony Lazzeri

2- Waite Hoyt

3- Lefty Gomez

Rob all due respect, Lazzeri only played in 6 WS during 1926 & 1937 as a Yankee not 8 & he was part of 5 rings not 6.

Of course its all good Rob I hear things like that happen with age:oldman: and it was only 6 series he appeared in, 1926,27,28,32,36 & 37. I love these quiz's though.

My pleasure Rick, and I hope to follow up with more in days/weeks to come..........and can I borrow those eye glasses of yer's??? :nerd::oldman:
