According to FOX Sports the Yankees are interested in Asdrubal Cabrera to play second base as per Jon Morosi.
Could you possibly stay in the here & now instead of going back in time to try & prove your lame points? Please, try & keep up.
...like I've said before Rick, Cashman's ever-changing supposed "plan" strategy appears to change from week to week...with him, it seems to depend on "any way the wind blows".
...but don't worry, he and Donald Duck have their fingers firmly on the pulse on the once proud Yankee franchise.
The Yankees are talking to the Marlins about Jose Fernandez as per the clowns on MLB Network.
Correct. He is only 23, why not?? I say go for it, depending on who they want in return. The very same Jose Fernandez that has only pitched in 19 games over the last 2 seasons because of Tommy John surgery.

....to be fair, he pitched the first part of 2014 before his injury and pitched the last part of last year after returning from surgery/rehab...and since his return he's been as good as ever. The very same Jose Fernandez that has only pitched in 19 games over the last 2 seasons because of Tommy John surgery.
Who knows if it's even going to happen but I agree with Ron, Miller, Judge and they can have Gardner too.If its Miller & Judge I'd have to pass. If at all I'd rather see Gardner as part of the package.

The Monies wouldn't be right. Gardner is due $36M over the next 3 years & Miller is due $27M over the next 3 years.
What is "ever changing with Cashman's Plan"?
You mean this:
...like I've said before Rick, Cashman's ever-changing supposed "plan" strategy appears to change from week to week...with him, it seems todepend on "any way the wind blows".
You might want to check with the author (post #214).
I was scratching my head trying to figure out the rest of that sentence which said:
"appears to change from week to week...with him, it seems to depend on "any way the wind blows".
Not sure where someone gets the impression the plan "appears to change from week to week"....
And being that the subject of "WEEK TO WEEK" was brought up, and to get a clearer indication and pattern, might as well go back "week to week" to last off season up to the current time and follow along with the Yankee GM to see if there is some semblance of a "plan" or pattern.
1) Yanks said (2014 off season) they weren't going in for any big free agent pitchers- Max, Shields, ect...and they didn't
2)Yanks traded for a 24 yr old SP and put him in the rotation.
3) traded for a 24 yr old SS making 550K to fill a glaring hole at SS
4) traded a backup 28 yr old catcher making 700K for a 27 yr old reliever making 550K
5) traded a 23 yr old SP coming off major arm surgery for a 29 yr reliever making 1.3 mil and a 24 yr old reliever making 510K
6) signed a "new" closer for 5 mil less than the previous one with both closers virtually being the same age- actually the new closer (Miller) is slightly younger.
7) did not trade a single top prospect at the trade deadline for an older high paid rental.
8) acquired a 27 yr old LH backup 2b/o.f. making 2.6 mil for two non top rated prospects - a 25 yr old converted reliever with a 8.66 ERA in short time with Yanks and 4.74 at AAA, and an outfielder who batted .282 with 16 HRs over two seasons at AAA
8) installed their top SP prospect into the rotation Aug 5, 2015
9) traded their 24 yr old backup catcher who did a good job last year batting .277 with little power for a 26 yr old switch hitter o.f. who batted .256 last year, 11 HRs, 352 AB, and .307 with a .870 OPS vs LHP.
Has a .995 career flg%, 3 errors and 22 assists in 243 games......and the Yanks have a 22 yr old "top" prospect as a catcher with power who batted over .290 at AAA and tore up the AFL recently.
This is an "ever changing" plan? Or, like it or not, does it look more like a consistent "plan".
I'm not related to Cashman, lmao........just calling it like I see it.
Somebody has to.
Never know, the neighbors may be watching, lol, we're supposed to be "knowledgeable" sophisticated Yankee fans....not the kind who attack him for trades he hasn't even made yet....lmao.
I can understand it from "half" Yankee fans, and some others who have already have boxed themselves in- with their anti-Cashman agenda....but I'm not like that.
But rest assured, as soon as Cashman makes a -imo- "bad" trade, I'll criticize him loud and clear. Just like I did when he signed Capuano as cannon fodder.
MLB.Com reports that the Marlins and Dee Gordon's agent are "making progress" on a contract extension as per Joe Frisaro....wouldn't mind snagging Dee Gordon from Miami.
This shit is funny.My ass!
Take your medicine and read it again.
Talk about farting in the wind?
"Ever changing" plan.
Cry for attention? Lol. The only attention I would "cry for" is for an influx of a dozen or so new posters to this board to read and comment on some of this redundant, predicatably exaggerated, juvenile, reactionary anti-Cashman bullshit.
Thank goodness a couple of you fellas don't conduct your everyday lives in this manner....
PLAY BALL!
