I agree that the D'backs are improved but I still think there a few players away from competing with the Bums & Giants. And besides its an even year so hopefully the Giants continue there WS trend. 2010, 2012 & 2014.

No, actually (imo) you're more rare than that- you're the only "Yankee Fan" I know of who would feel happy for another team after they beat the Yanks in the WS.
Let's just leave it at that. It's your thing, your prerogative.

But just to hopefully put this to rest, I wouldn't be jumping through hoops if the Giants beat the Yankees in the WS but my reaction would be simply, "Well if the Yankees couldn't win it I'm okay that the Giants did". Okay?................now let it go.

I have recently disagreed with the latest move by Cashman when he traded Wilson for those two AA-AAA SP .....and when other moves are made from now until the end of ST, I'll probably disagree with a couple, AND probably agree with a couple. Speaking of baseball- remember when I caught all that flak about plus minus run differnetial.....and Ricky two teams gave me a hard time because
at the time the A's were over PLUS 30 runs and in last place....well, I just reminded him the season wasn't over yet and lo and behold- the A's finished with a MINUS 35 ...and IN LAST PLACE. lol
