Yankees all decade team

They had so many guys playing LF during the 60s. Hector Lopez, Tom Tresh, Roy White, Yogi Berra even Mickey Mantle. But I'd have to go with Roy White.

White was a fine player who got to town a bit late, played on some terrible teams but eventually came on to shine. On my all star Yankee Team he'd be the starting left fielder. A-rod lead the '09 team, horse puckey Jeter was the Captain. Nettle gets my vote as best Yankee 3rd Baseman ever. A-rod, Jesus Christ, the man is a disgrace to that uniform.

White was a fun player to watch & after playing with some pretty bad teams I was glad that he got to be a part of 3 WS teams.

But what decade for Nettles? Who's spot would he take & who would take A-Rod's?

I'm probably in the minority on this but I always thought Henderson was a Bullshit Artist. If I remember right during the '99 NLCS Henderson and that other clown Bonilla were in the clubhouse playing cards when that man among men Kenny Rogers walked in the winning run to give Atlanta the NL pennant. When the Yankees let Rogers stymie them in the '06 series against Detroit I was so God Damn pissed I couldn't see straight enough to throw a rock through my TV.

Henderson was a hot dog (showoff) & he didn't need to be. Very talented but I always got the feeling that he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Ricky I'm sure never knew what year it was or the city he was in. Either that or it was the best sell job in history.
