...I dunno, I don't have an answer for it...but I have long suspected that he posts drunk a lot of the time.
...I thought the "Just who do you think you're talking to?" comment was a sure sign. ...funny stuff.
Spray charts? Spray charts? Noooooo, I've never heard of them...of course not.
Don't try and dazzle me with spray chart crap regarding MY point about Tex and McCann hitting against the shift.
How many times has McCann actually hit a ground ball towards the vacated area of 3rd base to get a hit vs the shift? Simple question.
I don't need spray charts showing me how often a LFer or CFer fielded a ball hit in the air
over the infield by McCann.
I know he has gotten hits to LF-LCF.
I've seen Tex attempt to go the other way and has hit a few deep drives to LF.
He has tried more often than you think of hitting the ball the other way (batting LH) and fouled it off, usually early in the count. He HAS and DOES TRY.....he just hasn''t been successdul at putting the ball in play...although the has hit a few deep drives to LF.
So please don't give any spray chart garbage......
Tex is just very bad at actually doing it...but he has tried a few times.
He gives it one attempt during an AB, and if he fouls it off, he goes back to pulling the ball.
THAT is what I meant by "who do you think you're talking too"
My question remains, how many times has McCann actually hit a GROUNDBALL towards 3rd base to beat the shift?
THAT was my point.
Spray charts? Lol
