You dont even rember readjng what i posted on page 1 of this thread. . My plan is very clearly laid out with a reshape of the whole roster with multiple moves. Then after the free agent list was posted I mentioned that I would take Colon on a 1 year deal. Is this hard to follow? So obviously Colon was clearly not my entire plan.

And you want to take a flier on a guy who is 38 who has nerve damage and isnt even sure if he can pitch again vs colon who was a all star this year. Ok. Sounds great.

And yes I know colon pitches for the As and his numbers are inflated. He is still a decent pitcher and wasn't god awful the last time he was a Yankee. Id easily take him over carpenter. You talk about red flags with Colon but want carpenter instead? I don't think so.

So tell me this great trade idea of yours. Forget about who is available and tell who in this organization can bring back an impact pitcher.

Right because in six months the Yankees are suddenly going to develop something that will land them am impact pitcher in a trade. I didn't ask you about the trade market, I asked you what the Yankees have that would land them a pitcher of value. They were basically laughed at during the trade deadline with their weak ass farm. You are just full of ideas. Sign a guy with a damaged arm and do a magical trade. Awesome.

My plan is all there. You just want to ignore it all. I mapped it all out. From possibly trading Gardner to signing multiple free agents. Who to keep and who not to. You want to believe colon was my entire plan That's your problem.

And I ignored nothing. I stated clearly that I would take some of those guys you mentioned but only on 1 year deals. I don't think any are better than colon and just about all will command multi year deals. Out of this group I would rather go 1 year with colon than 3 or more on some other marginal pitcher. You want to get all religious on colon fine, I don't care about his past mistakes in this case b/c it's a 1 year deal.

Clear enough or do you still want to pretend that all I mentioned in this thread was colon.

"we" were discussing a number of things in this thread, my original plan, the cost of getting such players etc. You just chose to forget them. You like to pick and choose what suits your argument. You want to pick apart my ideas, then look at the whole picture. You want me to look at your whole plan, but you want to cherry pick mine. Hypocrite.

Ive addressed ALL of your plan. Again and again and again. You just cant friggin read.
As i said, for the 20th time, of that list of people you mentioned, Colon is the only one that they can conceivably get on a 1 year deal. He is just as good if not better than all those you mentioned and will not take a multi year deal. Quite simply, he is the best pitcher for the best value they can get and not have to overcommit.

You foolishly said you would rather have Carpenter. Thats on you, not me.

And as far as the trade 6 months from now, i asked you a very simple question. Regardless of what happens in the trade market, i woudl love to know who you think is currently in the yankees organization that will win them back an impact MLB ready pitcher of value. You simply cannot answer that question so you hide behind this "trade market" nonsense. Assume EVERYONE in the organization is expendible. Go ahead and put together a package that gets the yankees a pitcher better than what they can get via free agency at this point. Gary Sanchez is the best they have and his stock is falling like a rock.
