You dont even rember readjng what i posted on page 1 of this thread. . My plan is very clearly laid out with a reshape of the whole roster with multiple moves. Then after the free agent list was posted I mentioned that I would take Colon on a 1 year deal. Is this hard to follow? So obviously Colon was clearly not my entire plan.
And you want to take a flier on a guy who is 38 who has nerve damage and isnt even sure if he can pitch again vs colon who was a all star this year. Ok. Sounds great.
And yes I know colon pitches for the As and his numbers are inflated. He is still a decent pitcher and wasn't god awful the last time he was a Yankee. Id easily take him over carpenter. You talk about red flags with Colon but want carpenter instead? I don't think so.
So tell me this great trade idea of yours. Forget about who is available and tell who in this organization can bring back an impact pitcher.
