I have been begging for the Yankees to sign Drew all off season and I am afraid it will come back to bite them in the end,

Jill I know this is something you don't want to hear BUT.....the latest rumor regarding Drew is that the Tigers are showing interest in signing him for 1 year due to the injury to Iglesias.

I wouldn't mind him in pinstripes either but honestly I think his asking price is a bit high.

Speaking of Iglesias, WTF? Traded for, Tigers thought he had shin splints or so the Team Doc said as much. Now he says stress fractures in both legs?

I can't imagine letting players go like the Tigers have. I thought they were crazy when they let Placido Polanco go way back when. At that time he was a spark plug, catalyst to set the table for the big guns. Plus he was a great fielding 2nd baseman. Now, they got back what comes around, which goes around, like a boomerang upside the head.

Oh, yes, someone who is a contender needs to pick up Drew, and keep him away from the evil empire in Bean Town.
