Yankees have traded Manny Banuelos to the Braves for RH reliever David Carpenter and LHR Chasen Shreve.

I am kinda stumped on this trade any help? Something in the works?

I agree, it seems like Banu was never going to be ready. I like this trade.

Looks like Carpenter is the new Kelly.
I guess the Yankees aren't quite ready to commit to one of their young farmhands.

On paper I agree. So does this say that the Yanks and Braves agree that the Braves have a better pitching development/rehab program?
Perhaps Cashman should fill that gap as well.
