^^^that's just it, I would think Ellsbury basically calling his coach a liar would be a big deal and big news, especially on the eve of the PS.

...and we're also assuming that the info Kay was supposedly given by Meredith was factual.

Ron if you can tomorrow watch the Batting Practice/Pregame show. I am positive one of those reporters will ask him that question. If he starts stuttering or says no comment then we will all know the truth.......... Girardi Gate indeed.

But being that the game was postponed who was going to question him about it and maybe he was questioned and did not comment on it. The only thing that I am surprised is that it didn't leak onto the Internet.

Both times he talked about it was the first 5 minutes of his show and the last 10 minutes so I don't know about his podcasts but it was something they didn't discuss for long. Ellsbury had someone call Meredith. I don't know who it is but supposedly asked her "Did you tape your segment before the game yet?" and she said yes I did and then this person told her that Jacoby wanted the public to know that he wanted to play & is 100% healthy. Who this person was was never mentioned.

It was a part of Trashman and Hanks "Master-Plan"..........nothing more......! if you don't get publicity, drum it up, or make it up....??? lol.....~~

...the fact that it's not on the net is precisely why I'm questioning the whole thing...like I said, knowing what a bunch of jackals the media is, there's no way they would let this just die and a rainout certainly won't stop them...it will either be brought to the forefront because it's a big story or it will simply go away because there was nothing to it in the first place.

...this still does not explain why Ellsbury is still listed as "day to day" and that is on the internet. And like I pointed out from the beginning, I just don't see the motivation here. I mean why would Joe lie about something so trivial and conversely, why would Ellsbury go out of his way to essentially call his coach a liar?...it makes no sense.
...either Joe indeed did flat out lie or the info that Kay/Meredith were given and referred to is bogus...I guess we'll see.
