Plus not showing any baseball instincts. He's horrible. Can't believe cluelessman resigned to another 3 years by the steinbrenner morons. Really scared he'll trade judge, severino, refsnyder and bird for spare veteran parts before they get up here. Speaking of which I've seen enough of didi. Move drew to short and get refsnyder's ass up here already to play 2nd.

Not going to happen- they said during the off season they weren't going after any very high long term free agent contracts and they didn't.

I know this isn't going to go over too big amoung the board, but some of us may have heard Cashman say the last year or two that they're trying to get younger, more flexible and athletic and while still under a couple of huge contracts to older players.....I think he's done "okay" under the circumstances.. The Yanks have added two young SP into to rotation Warren and Eovaldi and a 24 yr old SS (who is indeed a work in progress). Yanks badly need Beltran to begin hitting.

Yep, Phelps, the secret weapon.....when his ERA is below 4.00 and he stays healthy for a full season.

Prado? Drew - imo- will hold his own until Refsnyder/Pirela are ready.
Greene? I liked what I saw from him but I'm going out on a limb and say the jury is still out on him AND Gregorius.

Did anybody say "frontrunner"?

...what a miserable wretch...who said anything about Phelps being a "secret weapon"?...along with Prado, he was simply part of the trade with Miami.

...and neither was i comparing Prado to Drew. As I've pointed out before the Yanx would be better off with Drew at SS and Prado at 2B...that way they'd only have 1 black hole in the line up (Drew) instead of 2 (Drew and Gregorius)

...if you can't see how this team would be better off with Prado, Greene, and Phelps vs having Gregorius and the other scraps they picked up via those 2 trades, you know even less about the game than I thought...but hey, keep thinking "inside the box".

...lol...still buying into "the Cashman plan" as a way to justify things?

...getting younger at the expense of not getting better is not a solid plan. This is the Yankees, not the Twins.

Am checking the Tigers game Green 2 hits no runs through 3 vs AJ Burnett. Aren't we glad Cashman traded Green for Gregorius, I'm just so sure. Damn, bring back Jeter!!!!!!!!!!

McCarthy pitched 7 innings last night vs The Mariners. 10 K-s, 6 Hits, 5 Runs, with 4 HR's, Cruz had 2.

He didn't look so hot.......lucky the Bums could bounce back, once he left the mound......

Last night was banner for ex Yankees on the mound. Our old buddy Huff started for LA who won in extras. Old buddy Thornton relieved for the World Champion best rotation in Baseball Nats and threw away a lead to the Bostons. And our old buddy AJ lost to Mr Greene. I sure am glad that Brain Cashman had the foresight to trade a young kid like Greene to get just what the Yankees needed, a shortstop, ah shit not really. Cashman on short leash, he ought to be walked out in the street with a choke collar.

...^^^no need for the collar...I'll be glad to choke him myself.
