I wasn't expecting another 20 run outburst but hell, I thought..............................AT LEAST 5. C'mon guys

It's like clockwork after a team has an explosion like that the night before.

tanaka looks timid on the mound, he knows he doesn't have his stuff, he is aiming the ball, almost looks like his pullin back on his pitches

Yesterday's blow out, reminded me of an Opening Day game in Oakland, a few years or so back; with the Yanx in town.

That 1st game was a 21+ Run blowout, approx. Games 2 and 3 were won, convincingly by Oakland, after the blowout......

not saying, that's what's gonna' happen, just grease balling......where's my Vitalis and Butch Wax.....?

Can't believe that the Yankees are letting that fat fuck Lewis lead them around by the nose.

It's all about run differential!

It's all about run differential!

:) Well said. Always a good idea to have more runs than the other guys and keep it that way. You only needed five words on the subject where I have used dozens.
For instance:

How many teams are there in first place with a minus run diff?
How many, how often do teams FINISH in first place with a NEGATIVE run differential over the last 10 years......20 years......?.........
In the past 10 seasons not a single team has played in the WS with a minus reg season run diff.
Only TWICE (past 10 seasons) has a ML team with a minus reg season run differential finished in first place. That's 2 out of 60 teams.
Only ONCE in the past 10 years has a team (2006 Rockies) finished in last place with a plus run differential, by one run -that's ONE out of 60 teams.

And, as for finishing as a first place team...and especially a WS team...the percentages are tremendously favorable for teams with PLUS RUN DIFFERENTIALS.
Same goes for the OTHER way down through the years.... if a team finishes in last place, chances are great they also finished with a negative run differential.

We'll have to look long and hard to find a team which has BEEN to a WS in the past 25 -30 years which has FINISHED with a negative run differential .
A very very rare animal.

You only needed five little words to reach the bottom line without any fine print.
My hats off to you.:tiphat:
