RHP - Adam Warren, (2-1 4.65 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Nathan Karns, 2-1 3.79 ERA

NOTE: Warren is the first pitcher in Yankee history to not complete 6 innings in his first 9 starts.

Lineups to follow...

Well the big donkey broke the law of averages on Monday, maybe Mr, Warren can today!

Tonight's lineup..........

Drew at 3rd base? Seriously to the best of my knowledge he's NEVER played the position.

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
DH - Rodriquez
1B - Teixeira
C - McCann
RF - Beltran
3B - Drew
2B - Pirela
SS - Gregorius

2-0 Yankees after the Yankees turn in the 1st. Now lets hope we don't do the same thing we did last night.

Just for clarification purposes, "the big donkey" has pitched at least 7 innings three times and only twice has failed to go 6 innings and is averaging more than 6 IP per start.

Yanks biggest SP problem currently (imo), is having two wet noodles back to back in the rotation - Warren and Whitley.

And just like that the Yankees trail 3-2 in the 2nd inning.

And CCs ERA doesn't concern you? (This is rhetorical no need to reply as you will only cite a red Sox starter stats)

Since when is averaging just over 6 IP per game acceptable? This along with a 1-5 record, an ERA over 5, A whip of 1.400 & is on pace to give up over 30 HRs. And you continue to defend this guy. Seriously are you related to him in any way?

Do you call him Uncle CC?

...Corey Kluber...8 innings... 1 hit ...18 SOs...removed from the game.

Second game in a row where we score 2 in the first & can't do shit after that.

Very frustrating stuff. They explode in the first game and then can't do anything for 16 out of the last 18 innings.

This really sucks, I mean c'mon its not like these guys are facing Koufax.

So Warren extends his innings and the offense goes out on coffee break%%^^%$^%$%$##$^&^*&*(()((*)(&*&*%^$%%^

I didn't mention the fat Yankee pitcher by name, I was only replying to post #2 which replied to the OP (post#1) which stated:

"NOTE: Warren is the first pitcher in Yankee history to not complete 6 innings in his first 9 starts".

And my follow up reply to post #2:
Without mentioning the fat pitcher's name.

"Just for clarification purposes, "the big donkey" has pitched at least 7 innings three times and only twice has failed to go 6 innings and is averaging more than 6 IP per start".

I said nothing about an ERA and I have YET to say he's currently having a good year.

TOTALLY relevant comment/reply.

I don't know how the "fat guy's" season is going to play out, but as of now, he is one or two "good" games away from bringing his ERA considerably below 5.00 while still possibly averaging over 6 or close to 7 IP per start which is comparable and/or better than plenty of other #3 SPs currently IN THIS LEAGUE

Yes, I'm well aware there's a long way to go and he could also sink into oblivion.

So let's try and keep it real and stop the blind bashing.
And honestly, some of these posters are behaving like they caught Brian Cashman in bed with their wives......how 'bout THAT?

Cheer up.....I'll be bashing and ridiculing him with the best of them.....if, when the time of the season, my schedule, arrives and he sucks.

Hey lets not forget the important role you play in all of this also Tom, not everyone can pull off a pair of white go-go boots like you can.

I'm on the water cannon to repel boarders.

...well, alrighty then !....that changes everything.

Warren did well yesterday.....maybe, possibly the kid is turning the corner and can be a good #4-5 started with Whitley now on the spot.

One thing about Warren, he DOES have three decent pitches in his arsenal.
Still a young inexperienced pitcher learning the ropes......I was losing patience with him, but to be fair, part of being a MGR is having "enough" patience.

The kid could be an important part of this rotation.....keep in mind, the injury bug is always lurking and SP depth is VERY important.
