Hitting slump?....they're no different from any other team, lets just hope they"re not reverting back to last year's miserable season long scoring pace.
I'm hopeful and kinda confident that as long as Tex, Beltran, Ellsbury and couple other regs avoid nagging injuries en masse the team will bounce back and score runs on a very respectable rate throughout the season.

Excuses? Maybe you can call it that if you wish (whatever), but as of now, Yanks are 4-3 vs Tampa thus far with all seven games being played at Tampa.

Homerific pom pom waving?.....you can also call it that if you wish....or maybe it's just plain old "sound perspective", and not serious enough at this point to begin bailing out. lol

KC up next and I think it's fair to say 2/3 from KC will kinda settle things down.
If not, then when have our first "official" basic slump/"crisis"on our hands with the season well under way.
This IS a 6 month 162 game schedule.

Because I replied to a post which I disagreed with, which was implying the Yanks have no business being in 1st place at this point and kinda mocking those who believe the Yanks are, and do have as good a chance as any other A.L. East team's chances of finishing in 1st place? At THIS POINT of the season?

How about if you just lighten up a bit and ask your buddy if he wants to take a poll amoung baseball/Yankee fans NOT ONLY on this board which statement was more stupid and childishisly impulsive?

You continually give off the impression that you seek out controversy & then when challenged you think you're being picked on. Just some advice, its okay to disagree with someone without feeling the need to throw in your little sarcastic remarks. Take this as constructive criticism.

They are equally so because you both are old enough to not fight about things so trivial.
If someone's taking shots at you, don't respond to them, and report the post. Starting a flame war just gets everyone in trouble.

Expressing opinions is fine, but insulting others because of your/their opinion is what's causing the issue. It's not just you, but it does need to stop.

...the large majority of people have picked the Yanx to "struggle to play .500 ball"...not sure why you're singling me out...I've also admitted multiple times that ARod has been a complete surprise...but whenever I say anything that you disagree with you simply pull my ARod forecast out of your ass as if it's some sort of light saber end-all weapon...any more irrelevancies?

Quite understandable and just for the record, I'm pulling for the "player" to make good contributions helping the team - yet I'm also well aware a soon to be 40 yr old with bad hips can go down at any time.

The ironic thing is, as long as he keeps hitting or getting on base his chances of pulling up lame increase as he does more running on the base paths.

I would DH him just a bit less with Beltran or Young , with the other one (Beltran/Young) playing RF on those days.
 
Amazing how these game threads just seem to go on forever.
