RHP - Eovaldi, (1-0 4.15 ERA)

VS.

LHP - Miley, (1-2 8.62 ERA)

Lineups to follow.......

Come on, the sporting event of the day is the Derby. Muddling mint before first pitch.

Today's lineup................

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
DH - Rodriquez
1B - Teixeira
C - McCann
RF - Young
3B - Headley
2B - Petit
SS - Gregorius

Anyone else notice that several Yankee players appear to be growing facial hair? Gardner, Teixeira & Young.

Big two out hit for Gardner giving Yankees a 3-1 lead.

As of today Ellsbury & Gardner have to be one of the best 1,2 punch in baseball. Both off to very good starts.

Time for the boys to start growing their hair, sideburns, mustaches and a neat beard. That old buzz bomb hairstyle crap is for the birds.

Remember Joe "hairdryer" Pepitone. But that was before the boss.

Eovaldi with an impressive start. 7 strong allowed only 2 earned runs. 3-2 after 7, now we need some insurance runs.

The Yankees offense needs to stop performing at urine levels.

"Mustache gang" Godner started it an others are following him. Kinda through back.....I like it.

Chris Young continues to enjoy his time with the Yankees.

You beat me to it Vic, what a real pleasant surprise he's been.

Young has proved to be an asset, I've liked his acquisition from day one. That is one Cashman pickup we can grade A

Mint juleps are served. Makers mark and a win!

Buck Foston Part II. Now sweep them tomorrow.

Betances is seriously back to form, A 4 out save where he struck out all 4 of them.

Thank God for this bullpen. Have been completely lights out. They need a good offensive stretch though so they're not burned out by June.

No TV here house under a refurbishment followed on game cast. How did Eovaldi look performance wise today????????

I was impressed, he only gave up 2 runs in 6 2/3rds & keep his team in the game.

...good win vs the Sox...keep the hot streak going...because a cold stretch is sure to follow.

12-3 over their last 15?
Not too shabby.....but it's still "early" and will there be bad stretches....of course....unless some geniuses believe some of us expect the Yanks, or any other team to win at THAT pace all season long.
