Note to Cano, this is why you run hard to 1B....

Gardner is batting .303 with 15 infield singles. W/o those hits, he would be .256 and not an All-Star!
 
Great K by Betances, with two on, to end the Inning. Otherwise, I'd have to listen to the 2 Homers on NESN, gloat, and tell me how fkn great the Beans are in Boston.....

It's never easy with this team. Miller screws up a game ending double play throwing it into center field. Now 8-5 with the tying run coming to the plate.
 
Crazy game in KC. Royals and Blue Jays now tied at 10.
 
Whew, that last out, looked like it was going to drop in.........

2 out of 3, I'll take it anyday.....
 
Well thankfully that one is over with a win. Solid way to go into the break. 48-40 with a decent lead in the division. Good to knock Boston back down to seven out in the loss column.
 
Ref just needs to work on his interviews. 1000 you knows.

Shaky series, glad to see the Yankees get 2/3 but not a "crisp" win in any game. Boston gave away game 1, Yankees game 2. Concerned about the errors defense needs improve. Miller was really scary today. Those not going to Cincy enjoy your weekend and come back ready to improve.
 
I can't help but wonder that as Ref's ball was clearing the wall if Drew wasn't in the dugout thinking, "SHIT! I could be out of a job".
 
Also, how does Ref get the error that Miller threw clearly wide of 2B.? Tough error, he stood no chance.

I thought that was strange. Late to the bag or not Miller still threw it wide into the outfield.
 
speaking of Joe's ideas, what da fook is he thinking, allowing a guy to steal second late in game when a potential DP can get you out of it.

Yeah really the last thing I was thinking about following the game. They won, are in first place at AS break and the kid did good today.
