Now u know why I call girardi nothing but a little league coach, that was one of the most demoralizing decisions made on a player
 
Yankee Bullpen is a JP4 Tank Farm today, come on damn it finish the inning, close the game.
 
He just walked a 135 hitter. Now bases loaded & only 1 out in a 13-7 game. Thank God this stupid interim manager for the Red Sox took Ortiz out of the game early.

If he isn't now, Murphy might soon be one of the better backup catchers in MLB.

...wasted Betances...no excuse for that. The only thing he should have had to be concerned with was what the post game buffet was gonna be.

......he could probably step in and be a very creditable starting catcher.
Really like the kid - I bet there's quite a few teams who would pencil him in.

Always liked Murphy. A more than suitable backup and a decent bat.

Nobody wants to use their two best relievers after having a huge lead but whenever this happens all you have to do is think about how bad it would've been if they eventually blew the game. Off day tomorrow. No harm no foul.

I am taking back anything good I have said about girardi, call me every name in the book , he is by far the worst coach I have ever seen, and I have seen many, I am sickened by him managing a blow out into a 1 run feel to a game, and there have been many of these!! And again put your best at risk out of desperation and he gets hit by a screamer!!!
 
jays up 4-0 in the 2nd. Bases loaded and 1 out.....
 
Amazingly in his last 105 ABs Drew is hitting .286 with 5 HRs and 18 RBIs.
