With the emergence of Joe Panik, Noonan got lost in the shuffle with the Giants. If healthy, he could serve as a utility player for the Yankees and will likely battle with Jose Pirela and Rob Refsnyder for a spot depending on future moves by the club. He may also end up as a veteran presence at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, as he also plays shortstop and third base.

Cashman is going the cheap route with players of little
or no value. Just proves the Yankees are stuck with over
valued, over priced, over-the-hill players. This is the sorry
state in Yankeeland. Not a team I'm looking forward to see.

...this was a flyer...he's a minor league player.

Exactly. This is a measurement of where the Yankees are.....now,
if Cashman can only find a way to get rid of the fat cats
on this team. But, it looks like he is 'stuck'.

Noonan....I know there's a caddyshack joke in here somewhere.
