L. Cessa (2-0, 5.30)

vs.

R. Nolasco (4-10, 5.13)

Lineups to follow...

Not exactly the premier pitching matchup but these Yankee kids are proving they can bop so I'll look for another win this evening.

It appears the Yankees are improving 'on the fly' and the upcoming years are more positive than the
previous five years. Nothing like young blood to make the heart beat stronger for this immortal
franchise.

Gardner -LF
Ellsbury -CF
Sanchez -C
Gregorious -SS
Castro -2B
McCann -DH
Judge -RF
Austin -1B
Torreyes -3B

Gary Sanchez...............and to think the White Sox wanted him in any trade with the Yankees.
Thank God he's a Yankee!

Yankees catching right now is in damn good shape, Sanchez is stepping up well, Romine as steady back up, McCann as veteran mentor doing additional duty as a DH.

Just saw the write up on Gardners catch by Marchand. Should be a highlight play on MLB, have to check that out.

Baby Bombers come through again tonight thus far. Good job Cessa, Sanchez and Judge.

Big time Kudos to Cessa, pitched a hell of a nice game, gave his team a chance to win. Ditto the offense for the run support and a Gardner Catch on D.

Good stuff from Cessa tonight.

3 hits in 6 IP, without one single run given up; shut out. Truly impressive; hope he can keep it up. I thought he had good command, great pitch selection b/t Cessa, Sanchez and the bench. Cessa seemed to have the Halo's batter's off stride in expecting pitches they never saw, esp on 2 strike counts....

The Halo's can be deadly offensively, or totally asleep, less Trout and Pujols, plus their entire Pitching staff sucks big hairy elephant ding dongs...

yet, these dudes can hit, and Cessa put forward a helluva game to mow 'em down. Hope he continues, and we won't miss Eovladi...

Saw video of that Gardner catch in the 7th, might well be the highlight outfield play of the year for the Yankees outfield. Just a smoking hot effort!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can't lead at the dish, then you have to do it in the field. He's the old Yankee now.
