Sabathia vs. Skaggs

Lineups to follow...

In his last start Skaggs shut out a powerful Astros team for 7 innings giving up 4 hits.
Yankees, be on your toes with this guy. I’m picking Andujar as Yankee hero tonight.
Pitching will be patch work with the hope that Shreve and Cole do not get into the game.

Today Rays are up on bad Boston 3-0 bottomed 4 th inning with Sox threatening. One thing about
Rays’ org. they throw out unnamed pitchers on a daily basis & have much success. Hey, Trashman,
get some of their scouts who know pitching! Did not see a possible sweep in Beantown for the Rays.
It’s all for the taking......let’s go Yankees!

6th inning now.

Here comes The Pink Hatters comeback 3-2 2nd and 3rd.

Pirate rookie pitcher, Nick Kingham is no hitting St.Louis Cardinals through
6 innings!

Tho' He did have an impressive outing on the road in Houston. His start prior at Home vs Boston, he was rocked with: 6 ER, 4.1 IP start against the Red Sox...

CC & the BP are going to need angels on their shoulders today, esp vs Trout Archangel himself. Simmons t/great defender looks like a juggling clown vs t/legit Evil Empire. Pujols needs to retire after this season.

Skaggs the Big Lefty isn't really overpowering w/a 93 mph avg fastball. 2 & 4 seam; tho' he does get better vertical movement than most; but then so does Jays Estrada, this is where we miss Austin.

His out pitch & t/pitch that saw him drafted out of Santa Monica H.S. is his upper 70's curve, inducing soft routine grounders. He has a low 80's changeup to keep hitters honest; yet overall all 4 pitches induce less than 20% swing and misses. He was working on a cutter b4 his TJ surgery. Most pitchers lose velocity, movement et al post TJ. I've not see how its effected him at all. I think he's afraid to throw a cutter, now watch he will; just to spite us all....

Skaggs has a 'better than most' pickoff move. One that shouldn't be a factor imo. Yanx don't need to steal, just get on base and wait for those rips in the gaps to the walls, or the big bronx bomb. I think our rh hitters will do well vs Skaggs; our lefties could have probs, Hicks, (keep Gardner on t/bench please damn it, he's the only one not joining in t/fray), tho' t/way Sir Didi's playing he'd terrorize Randy Johnson.

The LA Angels of Anaheim, what another oxymoron. Anaheim isn't even in LA county, its in Orange County; just down the street from Disneyland, now DiDi Land.

Ty Cobb threw out the first pitch in the 1st game in Angels AL history, at old Wrigley Field 1961. Angels haven't played in LA since 65.

The Bostons and Toronto won today. My hope for the Yankees was to get 2/3 which they have done with the top two starters. We'll give credit where due and view tonight as a tough assignment. If the Yankees complete a sweep we'll all be happy, if not well 2/3 aint bad. Whatever the outcome I hope that the Yankees can go with the fewest amount of pitching possible. I'm sure Boone is already sweating Sonny boy in Houston as a possible one lost game in the upcoming Houston series.

Gray will face the unbeaten Brrlander with a 1.36 Era. Just as well. 2 of 3 is sweet.
Yanx are riding a Tsunami Surf. Hope they flood & drown all 4 Teams. of the next 4 series all 4 are Bay Area Cities.

Jesus Christ what a crew, A-hole, Vasgergian, and Medoza, gonna be a long night of pure BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's good to hear t/Big A louder with Yanx Fans equally if not louder, in greater numbers than fair weather locals.

It's good to see a sea of Navy Blue once again in Anaheim, as it always was until the 02 Series win, change in Uni-s to red, along with the creation/entrance of the (now) non-existent local homer rally fkng monkey. Thank God the monkey's dead, and Yanx fans have returned in numbers dwarfing t/home team.

Disney about killed the Angels with those movie Uni-s, and amusement park mentality.

Knowing what a Bullshit Artist A-hole is I wonder how he gets these network broadcast jobs thes passes on advice to players who actually this pathological liar.
