What the hell are Yankee scouts telling their pitchers, ...where to pitch Ohtani?
The only way they're going to get him out are with sliders outside, or anything breaking outside

Well at least Cashman admits it's on him;


NEW YORK -- Yankees general manager Brian Cashman isn't beating around the bush about the performance of the Bronx Bombers.
"We suck right now," Cashman said ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Angels at Yankee Stadium. "As bad as we can be."

However, for the third time this season, Cashman offered support behind manager Aaron Boone and the coaching staff.
"This is not an Aaron Boone problem," Cashman said. "This is not a coaching staff problem."

Cashman shifted the blame away from Boone toward himself.
"It's easy from my chair to say, 'Let me throw something overboard to just satisfy the masses.' It's harder to actually stick with what you've got because you believe in it," he said. "These people care. They're working their ass off. They're really good at what they do. We're not getting the results. I'm the head of baseball operations. That's more on me than them."

If he truly felt that way he would resign or fire himself, but his ego is too big! Or perhaps being the loser that he is just dawned on him!

I'm having to watch Bally Sports West, which has a lot to be desired, since they talk as if Ohtani is the second coming of Babe Ruth.

Two game analyst or Mark Gubicza and Matt vascular surgeon.
Funny knows better.

If Rex Hudler were still calling games for the Angels, I would not have even bothered to watch the game on the Angels channel ie BSW which once was Fox Sports West.
 
Hanging 11 points on a pitifully bad Angels team is not an indicator of much. I'd love to believe this game is a turning point in the right direction.
Consider the Angels overall 4.92 Team ERA
