I think Boone takes the hit. They won't fire Cashman even though he has done a horrific job with this roster.

Biggest mistake cashman made was firing girardi on the edge of a championship to hire his yes man Boone who is totally lost and may have closed the window for a title with this group. I agree Boone will go first but if Hal had any balls which he hasn’t shown so far cashman would be going out the door with him.
