So even with 90 wins we'd be in the same place right now.
 
i tried my hardest to come into 2nites game with a positive attitude.

tried so friggin hard to get passed my feelings about girardi, wanted so much to be wrong about him, the way he treats his players, and the decisions he made throughout the year, i erased them!

then when i saw 2nites lineup and ells not in it, it brought me right back...

i post this with no malice, i actually feel bad for joe, cause he doesn't have a clue on what he did.

there has to be a change in manager, and a few players need to go!

have a safe winter!
 
After watching this pitiful year, I am NOT looking forward to next Season, unless they can find a way to offload, a boat full of bloated contracts.......

The Yanx will have their hands tied again next year, if Trashcan and Hanky ditch "The Plan", and have a seance with King George.......shit..!

Time for a Fire Sale, however there are no takers, and won't be.........

If obsessing over a player who wouldn't of made one bit of difference tonight is what you took from this game it's a sad commentary. The lineup managed three hits.

At times, I'd rather play with Mojave Green's than have to feel the agony of watching this team. King George is screaming from his grave....but Hank & Brian are also deaf.......

Team outplayed expectations, anyone that is intellectually honest sees this.
 
Thankfully, it's Rangers vs Blackhawks tomorrow night and the Giants on Sunday night.
 
Well all, I've enjoyed doing the Game threads all year long, wish things could have turned out better & I'm really not very optimistic going into next season.

Glad I bought a bottle of champagne. Now instead of celebrating a win, I can celebrate going to NY to see my man in a few weeks. Rangers on tomorrow. Looking forward to Hockey Season.
 
This game was a stepping stone for the kids. For the
overpaid "experienced" players, they all looked gassed
and ready to be shown the door.
BTW. That is exactly where Cashman should be headed.

An overhaul is waiting in the wings!

I love my red wine.....but after this travesty, Johnny Walker Black
is my buddy.

Really enjoyed being on this board. The road ahead will not be easy,
but what the fuck.........all here will make it bearable. Take care to all.

Off to Germany next week. Wife and I are booking a Dec. Anniversary/ Christmas to to Zurich & Zermatt. I need one more trip for my 1K, thinking about popping over to London for a pint with a buddy that needs his premium mileage too. Cheaper than buying miles, lol!

While I'm glad the kids got a taste of the post season I wish it wasn't such a bitter taste. Refsynder should've stayed up the first time and gained even more experience. Sending him back to the minors for complete crap like Drew and Ryan was a joke.

Agreed I thank you guys for making me feel welcome. As an outsider looking in there is always that what if, but I enjoyed watching the rest of the season with you guys.

Thank you Lil for stepping in for me on the game threads while I was on vacation. Hope to see you back next season. I'm not a hockey fans so I probably won't be seeing most of you for a while. It was frustrating but also fun. Hope to have more posters next year so start your recruiting ASAP boys & girls. Be safe all.
