The offense has been a joke in Houston and the starters killed them.

I think a big problem in addition to not scoring runs in Houston was seve only going 4 innings twice and cc once really taxing the bullpen. Next season starters need to get to that 6 and 7 inning mark

Unless there's one more come back in them this season will be a heck of a learning experience. For a young team that's a necessary step. Young reinforcements still on the way. Plenty to be excited about.

1. acquire a bonafide ace (not sure Seve is quite there yet.

2. find a way to jettison at least 2 of either Ellsbury, Castro, and Headley.

3. with Castro and/or Headley gone that gives the Yanx the option of moving Gleyber Torres to eith 3B or preferably, 2B in which case would require the acquisition of another 3Bman.

I agree. Have to go out a get a top of the line starter. Next year should be time for Adams to hit the rotation also.

...Gardner would be a very interesting and valuable possible trade chip...maybe package him and Castro along with Ellsbury or Headley?

...as far as Betances, the Yanx would have to resign him first in order to trade him.

...I think the Yanx will make Girardi an offer but he'll probably get other offers as well...I think it will come down to whether Girardi wants to stay.
