After last nights loss I had bad vibes about this game. The pending World Series is of no interest for me to watch, don't like either team but will score check and recap read after the games have been played. When the Yankees don't get in there I tilt to the AL Team but you wont find me bandwagon jumping. Really disappointed that the Yankees did not make it.

I'd liked to of seen Torreyes in these last 2 gms, at 2-nd base, the "little spark plug" who never got his chance....

One helluva seaons for a team I never expected to see in PS....Kudo's ~!~

I'd also like to see Clint 'Red' Frazier playing an equal amount of games in LF, as Gardner....

Hicks couldn't hit his way out a paper bag this PS......

It was a great year and only the beginning of what should be a bright future. It always sucks to lose when you're this close but it's motivation moving forward. Just for starters a young Judge, Sanchez, Bird and Didi is a great four compared to anylineup.

I was surprised the Yanx went this far, to be honest, who did?

I am not surprised the Stro's are headed to a WS, I said as much 3 seasons ago; it was obvious Houston was bldg a helluva club, very apparent in the A+ Minor Lg team here in town....still would of loved seeing a Yanx/Bums classic instead, any day...

That being said: I won't be going to the Series in LA, wouldn't if I could...

I will be watching the Series, hope LA gets clocked by Houston. Unless a team sweeps the WS, will be watching the last games in the hospital, on a gurney fkd up on some heavy drugs....and saying my prayers ~!~

Just saw comments from Dallas "Beard" stating that MLB wanted a Dodgers Yankees World Series. Funny I never heard any mention of that. Anyway Dallas commented that the Astros spoiled that and were glad to do so. Trask talk from a team who has never won anything. Yankees need to file those away and come out swinging next season.

Its probably true as they'd rather have the ny market. But if that was the intent they should have let every one of the horseshit home plate umpires and they were all horseshit in on it.

...can't envision the O's flat out firing Showalter because then they'd be faced with trying to find a better option...but who knows, maybe the Yanx ask to buy out his one year remaining contract?
...plus, I'm not sure he'd want to come back to the Yanx after the way he was treated after the '95 season.

...love to have him though.
