I'm starting to agree with the rumors. I think this is going to be the end of Girardi's tenor here. Part might be his decision to walk away and take some time off and part will be the Yankees mutually feeling it's time. Reminds of the transition after the 1995 season as I think the Yankees need a new voice in the dug out at this point.
I agree Mess but it will be a tough call for girardi to walk away with the talent here and what shortly coming next year and beyond. He will take a lot of shit for different things this series and as emotional as he is he and his wife may decide the pressure is not worth the agita. We could see the 2nd coming of the buck-torre transformation and if so who do you think the lucky torre part of it turns out to be.
