Take note of the starting time.

RHP - Masahiro Tanaka, (4-3 3.94 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Jesse Chavez, (4-8 3.20 ERA)

NOTE: Tanaka has allowed 14 runs in his last 3 outings & hasn't made it past the 6th inning, but the right insists that he feels fine.

Lineups to follow.....
 
I hope the man goes out there and excels today so the Yankees get this series.
 
I'm just hoping they can get the game in this afternoon, it was raining earlier this morning & is currently overcast now.
 
I believe Chavez pretty much shut the Yanks down when he faced them in Oakland.

Time for some Yankee home cooking and it's always important to see if Tanaka has his stuff and health going well.

2B - Drew
3B - Figueroa

Anyone know anything about this kid Figueroa?
 
Went to the lineup, clicked on Figueroas name , found his career stats. Currently a 28 year old infielder, came up in '08, did 3 to 4 seasons in the Rays Durham Team. Now with Scranton, called up, as my sister would say to Cashman "Boy you sure can pick 'em".
 
Headley has a sore calf so he's only filling in. Petit again at third would be like drinking Drano.
 
Now if only accidentally on purpose someone could hit Drew in the shin with a fastball during warm ups.

It's beginning to look like the Yankees could be stuck with another long term wasted contract every year. I hope I'm wrong.

No that would be profiling & that would just be wrong.
 
Gardner voted into the all star team as a replacement for the injured Alex Gordon.

So I see he was named as the replacement... so not voted in... I guess the remaining 4 of the 5 up for fan votes are now getting voted on?

yeah, he was one of the 5... so it it just the 4 now? his votes don't count cause he can't take two spots...
 
It's good to see Ellsbury back,.........IMO, Jacoby has to stay healthy IF this Team wants to win the Pennant or have any success in PS.

WTF is with Lawrie's eye black......? He looks like the recently deceased WWE "Ultimate Warrior"......

I swear the A's CF: Burns, looks like he's more 5'7" than the 5' 9" he's listed at.....
 
Couldn't watch the game, but seems like he had a good game from his stat line... 1 ER in 7.2 IP... nice... don't know his velocity, but he looked good
 
Holy crap that's error #28 by the A's short stop.
