take a look at his 2005 line, 38 games; He played here in Lancaster, as well take a look at His following years. From what I've seen in A+ ball here in Lancaster, including the likes of Trout, Griffey Jr, A-Roid, and tons of others as rookies, I gotta' say most Jethawk fans in 05, KNEW Drew, should of made it not only to the Majors, but expected a helluva lot more production, once he made it......

And our previous SS didn't bat seventh so it's a silly comparison and argument from that standpoint. Any and everyone realizes he isn't and never was going to be Cano. Plus, as scary as it might be Drew has hit better than Gardner the last couple of months. It starts at the top and if we're going to continue to get that kind of nonsense at the top of order either Gardner needs to be dropped down or he's going to have to split time. On top of that if Ellsbury doesn't heat up for the stretch you can really forget it.

...the point stands, Drew is batting 9th for obvious reasons.

...And wtf does our previous SS have to do with this?...we're talking about 2B....again, NO ONE said anything about Drew "carrying this team"...you alone interjected that.

...Drew is DEAD LAST in MLB 2Bmen with 300 or more ABs...and there's nothing silly about being unhappy about that regardless of what Gardner, Ellsbury, et al are doing.

About as much as Drew has to do with Robinson Cano. The point is its been 140 games so we know where we're at with Drew. It is what it is. The other option is Ryan so there's nothing we can do at this point.

...uhhh, no,....Cano is a 2Bman, Drew is a 2Bman...Jeter was a SS. Bringing the SS position and comparing it to the 2B position is what was silly. Nobody said a word about Gregorius vs Jeter.

...and I don't care how many games it's been...140 games or not...Drew is a horrible tandem. Spin it however you want, but he's the worst 2Bman in Baseball...and I'm sorry, that's unacceptable, regardless of where he bats in the order.

There's nothing to do about it. That's the point. So to go on and on is paramount to banging your head against a brick wall. Donaldson just put one into orbit and we're worrying about Stephen Drew.

The kid was bound to get hit sooner or later, I just wish it didn't come against this team.

Gardner reminds me and reveals over the last few years, He has a limp noodle of a rubber arm, with NO arm strength, speed, velocity or accuracy.......

IMO, the throw on Tulo's hit thru the Infield, and throw from Gardner would of been an out by 10 feet, had a OF with an average arm, .......I can't wait to see how Judge does in the OF, at least the kid has a semi-cannon at times.

Hell, I'd rather see Ichiro, with is worn out Sniper Rifle arm, playing in LF, than Gardner. 8 years, and Gardner becomes less a player yearly, stat wise, and on the field, IMO........over paid too.......!

...wait, there's nothing I can do about it?...well no shit.

...so you're saying that everyone should just accept it and that no one should speak of it again?...sorry, not gonna happen.

I just walked in the house, when Encarcion hit his OF gap shot......

Geezus, Price has got a No Hitter going........fk?

May scoring "Variance" please show itself, with a ton of runs, or none????

Ron seriously who cares at this point. The Jays are serving them their ass already.

Yup, definitely should've been an out. He's rushing in on a ground ball single and bounces the throw like that. Just ridiculous.

Was looking forward to this one. To bad it looks over already. I don't blame Sevy. The growing pains and learning process has to happen. Offensively this is just a feast or famine lineup. Severely needs a solid overall hitter. The Jays just have an overwhelming lineup advantage at this point.

When was the last time an OF had a strong arm?
Gardner has a soft throw.

6-0 as Severino's night is over with one out in the third.

...lol...this convo started well before the game even started...but whatever. And yeah, I'm watching the game.

WTF Jesus Christ just got home from dinner and it's 6-0?? I guess Severino shit the bed. Who the hell is pitching now??? Can one of you guys give me his line and pitch count before he got taken out while I go change....Thanks.

The bottom line is that after they drop this one tonight the Yankees will be 19-18 since August 1st. They just don't have the horses to compete with the Jays in the stretch run. There's a thing called swagger and Toronto clearly has that. The Yankees get into these stretches where they look like a dead team.
