Ah well, today we seen some good stuff, then we seen some not so good stuff. One thing though Andujar remains the most dangerous productive, consistent bat in the lineup. If this kid can get his defensive game on course he'll be another Nettles all around. Good to see GT get some hits again and Bird come up with a bomb. So we think the healing has begun, problem is for how long will it last. At any rate they got a win which counts heaviest.

Dallas Kackel and the Astros are getting their asses kicked by Oakland 5-0 in the 6th inning. Could be seeing some switching in the AL West and Wild Card today.

As my father used to say "There's always gotta be one." Today that one is Kahnle!!!!!!!!!!!!

...as we've talked about before, that's the problem I have with using so many relievers...if you pull your starter early and then depend on 4-5 relievers to finish the game, there's a very good chance that at least one of them will have a stinker...and tonight it was Kahnle.

^^^^ .....

Bullseye...
T/BP as a whole will be exhausted and burned out by mid- September; as the wears already setting in....

RE2PECT, was wondering why Jeter didn't show up-

Good to see Stanton stepping up over the last couple weeks since Judge's been down.
An-just-Du-it-jar 8/20 over t/last 5 gms. HR #20 on the yr...!!

Gone-Carlo: HR 32; career HR #299...
Stanton should easily reach 600 HR's for his career and more. I would love to see Judge surpass him tho'., even tho Judge got a later career start...
IF Judge would of played for the Marlins (1 of few Minor Lg clubs masquerading as an MLB team in the last decade); He would have been on the roster at age 20-21 like Stanton.

I proudly walk around with a #27 jersey on my back. GS has stepped up. Houston Oakland and Seattle are the clubs we will contend against for that wild
card spot and GS is helping the club keep pace with the win total.

For what its worth stantom has had a very good second half so far...313 9 hrs in last 30 games

...ahhh, but is the number 27 for Stanton?......... or for the number of Yankee WS Titles?...

All of us in here are waiting for a series sweep and we finally saw one with the Blue Jays limping out of Yankee Stadium. I thought Sonny was going to give up three runs at the top of the ninth but Torres snatched the bullet shot. Glad we won a series with an 8 run differential in the last game.
