Yankees need a win to get to .500 with this Blue Jay Team. Not an easy assignment today seeing a pitching match up that favors the home team.
 
...nice to see the Yanx back in the PS...after much reflection, I've decided that I'll gladly accept whatever the remainder of the season gives us. I arrived at this amended attitude after realizing that before the season began, like many of us, I had no real expectations of this team being more than a mere .500 club, much less making the PS.
...sure, we've lost a few games that we could/should have won but that can be said of every team in MLB. And I think it's safe to assume that when the season began nobody would have believed that the 2017 Yanx would clinch a playoff spot with over a week to go in the regular season.
...will I be elated if they somehow win it all?...of course, because that's what we all dream of and tend to expect...but on the other hand, will I dog them if they get bounced in the initial one game playoff or in the first or second round?...no, because I never really thought they'd get this far.

...overall, it's been a great year to be a Yanx fan, regardless of what happens in the next 3-4 weeks.

When Garcia leaves via free agency and finds another team despite his glowing record, he'll probably claim Griardi disrespected him.
 
That one game playoff may prove to be a challenge. Though the Yankees swept the Twins, they are on the verge of getting their ass kicked 2/3 by a last place team. The Twins on the other hand are on the verge of a four game sweep against Detroit. The Tigers are not what they once were but the Twains put huge ass whippings on them every game. I'm hoping the Yankees are not on a "we're in the playsoffs so fuck it" but it sure looks that way today. Some folks may need to wake up and smell the coffee.

I hope Judge breaks that rookie record for bombs set by McGuire. My dislike for Mc Guire & Canseco began in their early careers. Canseco turned out to be a braggart and nitch, Mc Guire a pathological liar an JP4 user. Sure hated to see the Babe & Maris passed by that asshole.
 
...so happy for Judge...great start to the season, then hit a wall, now raking again.

...and just think, we get to watch him, Sanchez, Gregorius, Castro, Bird, Torres, Seve, et al for several more years...Yanx' future looking very bright.
 
Guarantee that Jays lose their next series in Boston. They only get up for the
Yankees. This pattern must change next year for the Yankees to win the division.

This wild card crap must stop! Oh yes, good pitching cannot hurt! :smiley-pat:
