As Yankee hitter are frustrating the hell out of us on this board, some good news down at
Scranton.......Justus Sheffield, young lefty starter, threw a 7 inning 3 hitter and 1 run with
Clint Frazier hitting a HR.

Yankee hitters have missed opportunities to score important runs.

Betances is lucky this game wasn't tossed into the shitter on his watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...and Torres starts off the top of the 11th by committing his 10th error already...leadoff man on for the Braves.

...Yanx IF has not been very good this year.

Totally disgraceful loss this one. What will manager Boone have to say for his offense in the post game?

Yanx 0-12 with RISP tonight...absolutely pathetic.

Good night boys and girls.

Absolutely Pathetic 0-12 with RISP. As You've stated time again ever so truly- a One Dimensional offense; it's either the Long Ball or Bust & this was definitely a bust (no breasts either unfortunately) ...

Might as well replace baBoone with a pimp, the offense would score more often~!!!

Following Tonight's Game The Yankees optioned Lasagna to Triple A.

I wonder, are they going to send all of the hitters who failed tonight to AAA as well. I don't know about anyone else but putting myself in Loaisigas shoes, I think he did well enough to be back after seasoning. Hell he did better than Gray. Did anyone see Cashman watching his team at last nights game. Maybe Cashman did no know there was a game!!!!!!!!

Damnmn We earn extra innings and Acuna hits for our loss!

Right now, any Yankee fan faithful knows there is nobody ready to step up as a starter
for these Yankees. So, why does Cashman continue to play yo-yo with his farm system.
I guess he’s hoping for a lucky pick! Still, have not seen his body witnessing the pitching
on the downside. :smiley-jumping: Up, down, up, down, up, down.....kind of gets dizzying!

Many teams do the same thing that the Yanx did quite often...Lasagna's "demotion" is simply a strategic move...he would not have been pitching again for several days anyway and would have served no purpose by sitting on the bench until then...so they sent him down making room to bring up another pitcher (Cole) who is available to pitch now...as of now, the plan is to recall Lasagna later this week in order to pitch the 2nd game of the double header games vs Baltimore on Monday.
