I would have to agree. If he reinjured himself it's a real issue.
Boone says he felt Tanaka had emptied the tank. His usual absurd reasoning as he continues to brutally manage the pitching staff.
Maybe.None of these guys had a real ST, and it's likely the main reason for so many injuries to so many players on so many teams, especially pitchers.
Gotta believe that the removing of Tanaka and Judge was a combination of over managing by Boone and precautionary moves to avoid injuries.
Judge will get his payday.

How many times has Boone’s moves proved that his tank is always on empty!
Yes he is.66 pitches and he had an easy 5th inning. Boone is a clown.
Avaiilability is a key signate and Judge has missed too much time to risk a long term contract. He;s a fine defender, but an all or nothing hitter with far too many strike outs. If I were the Yankees I'd test his trade vaule and try to get something in return.
If truth were told I wonder what per centage of the players on this team would like to take Boner out behind the dugout and kick his ass.

No way they trade Judge. I also believe he will be the next Yankee Captain.
Besides, if he's truly a detriment because of some injuries, why would another team be willing to offer anything of substantial value?

What's up Ron it's been a long time nice to see you back.
Unless there was an injury there's absolutely no reason to take Tanaka out of the game.

I have no idea why Boone would assume that Tanaka had "emptied the tank"...that's freaking ridiculous.
I've alway put more stock int0 how well any given pitcher has pitched on any given day instead of going by pitch counts when deciding whether or not to remove a pitcher. The thing that really ticked me off when Freeman hit that go ahead HR was the fact that Tanaka had totally baffled Freeman in his first 2 ABs. Freedy, who is an exceptional hitter looked completely lost against Tanaka and struck out bot times.
Terrible decision by Boone.

Terrible decision by Boone. But even with his bad managing, one inescapable fact remains...the Yanx only scored 1 run in both ends of the double-header...not gonna win many games that way.
