Line tonight is on the Yankees despite the pitching matchup. Last night a rookie beat this team so how do the oddsmakers favor the Yankees tonight. Looks like Voit may be back on the IL. Judge stated that when someone goes down someone must step up. I wonder if Judge figures 1/23 is stepping up. Boners post game comments were the same mealy mouth shuck & jive he's been spewing all year. Hey Boner your team is on the verge of being season swept by a .500 National League Team . Boner probably figures himself to be a Yankee Legend because of that luck '03 bomb. The only place Boner will get his Yankee Number retired is to the trash can. Cashman smiles on hearing his manager say if no help arrives his team will "get creative" . The '19 blame lines are set.

Voit will likely need surgery so his season could be over. Hale also went to the IL with a lumbar spine strain, not sure what that even means as for a return time. Instead of bringing up Estrada though, Trashman brings up career minor leaguer and useless garbage dump heap Valera. I swear that BaBoone and Trashman are sometimes working to make sure this team does NOT win.

Yep, more of a reason why you need to play and manage every game for a W. Hope this isn’t the start of the quick fall for us with Tampa and Boston likely to make trades to get better while Trashman and BaBoone have a sword fight in the bathroom over whose dick is smaller.

Imagine Madison Bumgarner coming to the Yankees after years of experience with Rhigetti and Bochy then dealing with Boner & the Child. He'd probably tell them to go piss up a rope. Joel Sherman on MLB Central reminding people of '15 when the Yankees had a six game lead Cashman did nothing. The Blue Jays acquired Tulo and Price and the Yankees got left behind. Dumb butt Boner is riding that lead and being cocky, not good.

Both Trashman & Boner deserve each other as all their ‘player pieces’ come crumbling down.
These two make the Yankees’ situation trying and inert.

Listen, I’m all for not mortgaging the future for today, but unless Frazier is honestly part of this franchise’s future, which very honestly isn’t likely at all, then for them to keep him when there are definite needs at the major league level is just stupid....but we are talking about Cashman. I can’t see a scenario where this franchise honestly lets Frazier come back up to the big league with how he has behaved and talked. Trade him for something that can help us (get creative, reach out to the Reds just because) and make something happen. If we sit here and do nothing, we will maybe still win the AL East, and we may win a series in the playoffs, but we won’t even make it to the World Series against these AL teams with their lineups and/or pitching.

Two Yankee Players have hits today, the remainder are drawing huge salaries under false pretenses. The offense is right there with piss poor pitching as game loss contributions. I see Judge struck out twice today. There aint no maris or Mantles on this team.
 
lol....raining like it is, Romine swings on 1st pitch and none of the Yankees stepped out and tried to get the umps to call for the tarp and so they just handed Arizona the W. Good coaching BaBoone. Way to make sure your guys took another L. Fucking hack.
 
Tanaka tanks in the 5th inning. He gives up one more run than Greinke will give up. Arizona on its
way to sweeping these first place Yankees for now.

I did see both Tank and Greinke with 3 BB's. Unusual for Greinke, his SO/W ratio is pretty good @ >7.10 Not so with Tank @ >3.10

I don't blame Greinke for wanting as big and fat a contract as Kershaw.
35 Million $$$ geezus.
But his reason for signing with the D-backs was laughable -
"I want to be on a team which gives me a better chance to reach the World Series".

After losing 2 to a subpar .500 team, in the Bronx, it's gonna get depressing watching Boston come to town with a truckload of whipass.... hope for the best, prepare for the worst ...
