Judge getting the day off he needs to recharge his batteries for Boston

Should be able to beat Cleveland with a minor league team.

Judge not in the lineup today. I'm getting real tired of seeing Gallo striking out all the time.

Andujar and Florial deserve to play more than Gallo and Hicks.

Sad to see Marinaccio on the 15-day IL. He turned 27 Friday.

Trashman's version of a lineup as much closer to 31 than it is 27 years of age.

3rd inning...Shitty pitching and shitty defense puts runners on 1st and 3rd.

Has anyone seen Michael aka YankeeFan5545 lately?
It looks like he hasn't posted since May 10th.
I hope he is all right and he has not had a issue with his health?

I started to ask the same question yesterday...have not heard anything from him in awhile.

Thanks Ron. I worry about Michael, I know he's in a couple or few years older than we are.
One's health can go south real quick when one is beyond the mid-60s.

I woke up the morning of March 21st blind in my right eye. No forewarning, I had a stroke in my sleep and did not know it, until I woke up and was unable to see out of the right eye. It took three trips in three consecutive days to the optometrist, before somebody could tell me what the hell happened. I thought it was a retina detachment which could be repaired, but no this is irreparable.

So yeah, health problems can come out of nowhere without any forewarning.

Damn, sorry to hear that, Matts.

Great play by Trevino and DJ. Good thing Sanchez is no longer with the Yankees, I would have hated the scene with that play would have looked like with Sanchez behind the plate.
More than likely Sanchez would have missed the throw, then picked up the ball, and thrown it into right field.

Trevino has been a pleasant surprise

GT with an arrow that pulls Rizzo off the bag.
GT will never be a Shortstop or a competent base runner.

ONE fucking hit?...really.

This year's team blows my mind, they're still swinging for the fences with only one hit to show.

Other than another sloppy play by GT. If it weren't for the Yanks defense and they're surprising pitching staff, their offense has been insufficient by itself, to give 'em the record they have.

Imo, no single entity of the Yankees play this year has been sufficient by itself.

ONE fucking hit?...really.

Blows my mind how the Yanx are as far out in first place as they are, tho the defense and their pitching has improved, they can still be so horribly inconsistent.

Until these guys learn how to play small ball on a regular basis, hitting for average rather than home runs, (with an occasional three-run home run), they will forever be questionable.

All of these things will Factor even more in postseason!

Dropped ball at 1st puts Stanton on first. Donaldson's .227 batting average is an embarrassment. This is where we miss Gio.

Mind boggingly hard to believe Donaldson was ever an MVP.

What an anti-climatic ending with Hicks at the plate bases loaded.

Imo, Yanx need to send both Hicks and Gallo down to the double AA, and call up Andujar and Florial, once and for all for good

Ball above the strike called a strike on Torres....FIX THE FUCKING STRIKE ZONE !

I was checking out a couple of Yankee fans sites on Facebook. Unlike everyone here on this board, those idiots on Facebook bad mouth anybody that dislikes Gallo, or wants to see Gallo sent home for good, and they all bad mouth anyone that wants to see a umpire-less home plate strike zone.

Needless to say I will not post on those Facebook sites, and I will never visit them again. Where the fuck do these fans come from? The ones that still praise Gallo, and/or don't want to see the K zone enacted, or prefer these fucking HP Umps

As they say, "hindsight is 20-20"...but wouldn't Carpenter have been a better option than Hicks in that situation?...seems so to me.

When you have 5 hitters you have any confidence in and the crack analytics committee chooses to sit 2 of them the result is what we saw today. Too many dead spots. Hicks, Gallo and Donaldson are totally useless. Trevino and IKF are mediocre at best. This team needs a couple of bats namely andujar and either Florial or someone else. The pitching is good enough and as long as Rizzo plays first saving the rest of the infield a million errors as none of them can seem to reach first on a fly the yanks will be ok but need to find those 2 more hitters!

Unfortunately, with two of their better hitters given the day off and with Hicks & Gallo in the same
lineup, BaBoone is telling Cleveland, “Beat us with our less than best!”

Well, the Guardians put up the gates & gave the Yankees fits today…..all in the name of Triston McKenzie who
allowed these mighty Yankees just one hit for 7 innings and that’s all she wrote with a whimper in the 9th inning
…..not one Yankee touched home plate today.

Never gonna happen. I can see Trashman trading one or both (Andújar/ Florial)
for “experienced players”. Not even this GM believes in their Developmental Program!
