Gave themselves a shot but just couldn't come up with the big hit. When you look at the overall offensive effort which was terrible it starts at the top. 0-8 for Ellsbury and Gardner.
 
I thought after Girardi got tossed they would get the win but hey what are you going to do I am used to this to little to late 9th inning.

clearly off the plate from the above camera, but IMO, also from the initial CF camera as well.......

Fkn umps these days, still have their own idea of their individual strike Zones. Umpire rankings, may of decided who the best and most accurate UMP is at calling games, thus one method for choosing Post Season Umps.......

but the way, Lossogna called tonights game is so fkn typical, like the worst UMP in both leagues IMO right now is Mike Winters, who also calls the outside pitch a foot off the plate a K..........

It's Umps like these two who will turn MLB Strike/Ball determinations using Lasers, before we want to believe it. The Technology to do so is 2 decades old,....... I'd rather see Humans behind the plate tho', other than change the game more than its been changed.......ie, 1 bad apple spoils the entire god damn bunch......

I thought the same thing, in fact at that point, when Joe wasn't tossed, I was hoping Joe would of kicked Him in the Ass upon turning around to go to the dugout......

Some Umps will toss a Mgr, for simply stepping onto the dirt around Home Plate........

I love seeing Joe lose it because 75% of the time this team comes back and wins the game but whatever we still have a chance with Tanaka tomorrow

It's frustrating as this makes them 1-3 against the Indians. At the very least they need to take two of the next three.

If CC is pitching that is probably another loss but I heard that Pineda is back but he is also another question mark. I want to see Severino get some run support that kid is something special.

me 4......... if we don't take care of The Tribe pretenders, the Jays will at months end, in the Homer Dome, for a 3 game set. I see it as critical, others would downplay I'm sure.........

Every games is a must; a sweep, 2 of 3, for best of series, the Team with the most wins, wins......:nerd:

Lillie I agree, the kid has had terrible run support (2 runs in 3 games). So I'm hoping for an offensive explosion when he pitches on Saturday.

Yes, He sure is, isn't he? I'm looking forward to hopefully following a long healthy career, watching him grow into a League Premier Pitcher, I hope, ......

tho' he has no wins, 2 losses in 3 Gms, He looks good for the most part.

shades of hope for the next Doctor K, only in De Bronx for the next decade or so. He looks like He could be the real deal, for years to come. I only hope the bats don't go cold with Seve's next go round,........
