I did not know CC's been getting His knee drained, I thought I heard this would be the 3rd time.......

releasing mostly blood,........not good, time for CC to retire.......

only 34, one would think CC would be in his prime at this age, instead of his decline, sad........

plus he's on the payroll thru 2017, @ 25 mil per year.......and this is not a 25 Mil $$$ SP, more like a minimum wager.....but then, with a Knee Prob like His, he really should be thinking of retiring, knees rarely if ever get better, without a replacement surgery, and I've never heard of any athlete playing with a knee replacement.........

only the great Bo Jackson had the audacity to play with a hip replacement, ie truck ball joint, damn near literally, but then Bo was un-fortunately not close to the shade of a player he was prior to surgery, .......

to bad too, cuz Bo could of been the best HB/FB, the NFL ever saw, as well as a wall climbing LF'r.........

Ah...the Matts. Draining "serum" that's not good long term....that knee will be replaced before he turns 50.

Good to CYA Tote, ......

I would not be surprised, like ya' said, "Not good - long term".....

I wonder how long CC will try to hang on, sadly enough in vain, IMO.....

Below is an article, I found from August of Last Year.........

from ESPN, 05 Aug, 2014-

NEW YORK -- CC Sabathia revealed Tuesday that he had a bone spur removed from his right knee when he had season-ending surgery on his right knee last Thursday. But the 34-year-old left-hander also said that a more serious microfracture surgery has been ruled out, and expressed confidence that he'll be healthy enough to pitch for the New York Yankees next season.

NOT........

Doctors told Sabathia he has almost no cartilage under his kneecap, and that his knee will require constant maintenance, including PRP shots and procedures to drain fluid when there is swelling. Sabathia said he will also get a stem-cell injection later this month.

"I'll have time for it to work this time, instead of trying to rush back," said Sabathia, who had the stem-cell treatment earlier this year. "I have five months. Hopefully I'm be able to have a normal offseason."

and -

"If it's like this, I can deal with it," he said. "I don't think there's any reason I shouldn't be able to tolerate it and pitch."

Sabathia said doctors told him the bone spur was near his ACL, but that the ligament itself was fine. Still, the feeling was that the spur contributed to the discomfort Sabathia was feeling in his knee, and he said he already feels better.

Obviously CC and His Dr's, were not so lucky........sadly enough, What I'd give to see the Sabathia of 2001-2012

Been distracted. Traded in the Z for a new Tacoma Sport, been busy doing mods. So far I replaced the stock grill with the TRD Pro grill (throwback design like the land cruiser), twin step Nerf bars and windows tinted. Another 2 weeks to go before the ICON vehicle dynamics stage 6 racing suspension (3" lift) and XD monster2 wheels and Nitto Terra grappler g2 285/70R17's. After that will start on the body armor and off road led lights. Nice thing about those high altitude rocket flights....the up to 20 mile off road recovery experience, lol! Going to learn from past experience of bird hunting at dusk/night.....Mount a UV flood light. Serves 2 purposes, airframe/chutes glow and you can see the scorpions.

Really nice, unless the game turns this Yankee team is on the verge of losing 5 of 7 to the God Damn Cleveland Indians. Hang your heads in shame team and pray Toronto loses. If you can't win straight forward maybe you can back in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jumping Jesus Christ.

Backing in means the Royals.

These bitches need some firecrackers stuck up their asses.

Ah, you've been busy with Your New Toy. Congrats-, your going to have a blast off road......and your on the right track no doubt.......

It blows my mind, when I see someone buy a 4WD, then lower the fkr, with low profile wheels, WTF- only in the Congo of So. Cal.......

Sounds like you've covered every aspect of Custom Modifications to Your Tacoma, Kudos to ya'.........

reminds me a helluva lot of my Younger Bros, when He was alive. He'd buy a new truck every year from 18 to 37. He never failed to add every single after market item he could, et al. From 'Fox' Lift Kits, to engine Chips, to boost his HP; and often have a nice hot rod, to go with it, (Corvette's), .........

Is another Sports Car in the Future, part of your plan......???

You've got to post a Pic Up when you get the Tacoma completed, damn I'd love to see it.....

Hey, hey, fluorescent glowing chutes, great idear........

I meant to ask you, and I know you once told me, "What is the Max Altitude your Rockets have reached", and what do you use to determine your rockets altitude........

I get this Visceral of one of your Rockets flying by the ISS, while creating a splash on the moon......!

Rob....my personal best is 25k, but 100k is my bucket list. Only one place to do that....its a launch held every year at Black Rock called BALLS.

These are your kind of people Rob, lol!

Several types of altimeters used.....barometer, accelerometer and now GPS.

A worthy goal......

good stuff Tom..........I actually saw a really xlnt Documentary a couple weekends ago, on the guys who shot the 1st home built rocket onto the verge of space, in 2011; at Black Rock, and yes, my kind of place, since they won't allow as much at Rancho Mirage Dry Lake Bed......(last I heard).......

Here's the story- with its Video.....

At an average of 75 pitchers per game the Yankees aren't holding well either. I'm just hoping Richards has a good game because Dellin may have given up this game to Lindor.

No doubt, and Thanks for the Link.......

I used to have an Aunt, Uncle, and 4 Cousins, who lived approx an hours drive to Black Rock.

As Kids (<18), and not a damn thing to do in town, we built our own bombs, pipe bombs; anything we could blow up; out in the Barren assed Nevada desert.........and no one seemed to care.....

My 1st experiences with utilizing concoctions of explosives, or rocket fuels, you could say......

Altho' my Uncle worked for a Mining Company, and His Son's often stole a stick or two of Dynamite, back then......and he never missed 1 of 'em........

It wont last trust me I have been watching this series and the Angels pitchers suck.

Indeed, here in So. Cal. the Halos don't seem to have what it takes, to win in PS, if they get there.......which is looking more unlikely by the day...

tho' I was hoping the halos would slow down the Jays, instead of making 'em look like World Series Contenders........

No sooner do we get back in this game, we trail again. This sucks.

Drew fails again, Drew on team that's on Cashman, Drew in the lineup, that's on Giaradi. What a pathetic situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
