Well, you could pretty much figure that Tanaka was going to give one up. That's why those failed 1st & 3rd opportunities may come back to haunt if this games gets away. Bauer is not exactly blowing people away and Boone will have to watch Tanaka close from this point.

Total disgust. How many times this first half of the season have we seen Yankee batters letting an opposing
pitcher off the hook? Too many times. And to make matters worse, the team winds up on the losing end.
To be 4.5 games behind the Pink Hatters is not sitting well among Yankee fandom.
