July 12, 1963 I enlisted in the United States Army shipped out to Fort Ord California so today is the 55th anniversary of that start. At that time the '63 Yankees were en route to another Pennant. Though they got the Pennant they were swept 4-0 by the Dodgers in a Series that seemed over before it began. So I'm hoping that tonight as I celebrate my enlistment date that Sevey will pitch the Yankees to a win. MLB is telecasting the game bad gig is we get Costas and Kaat. At least we won't hear them bitching about Yankees Stadium. And yes it is a playoff preview so if both pitchers are on we'll see many zeros on they board.
