Is this team capable of adding on runs with Bieber on the mound? Truth is Cole needs a shutout pitching

Note* It took 67 years since Mantle’s feat for another Yankee to win the batting title.
That’s a long time and LaMahieu, and the kicker here, was obtained in free agency.
Why has it taken this long for Yankee managements to develop contact hitters?

I believe that also makes DJ only the second player ever to win the batting crown in BOTH leagues. And Mantle's came in 1956, the year he also won the Triple Crown.


As far as the Yanx not developing contact hitters, we can also ask the same question about starting pitchers....Guidry is the last one I can remember excelling.
