Tanaka vs. Albers

Lineups to follow...

Line is on the Yankees, a good game from Tanaka resulting in a Yankee win, coupled with the Bostons losing to Baltimore again would make for a pleasant Sunday!

Hicks -LF
Castro -DH
Sanchez -C
Judge -RF
Gregorious -SS
Headley -1B
Frazier -3B
Ellsbury -CF
Torreyes -2B

a better line up... did girardi get suspended too , lol , bird out already? lol

go yanks

Top three looks good, Judge need to get the hell out of his funk. Be nice if Tanaka could get at least 8.

Got my Mother to watch Junior so I can watch the Yankees.

Nice clutch frazier. Another k with the bases loaded. You should be on the bench. And nice clutch hit by ells bury to open it up to 5-1 yanks

Ellsbury with 7 RBI in the last two games, must want his job back. Frazier perpetual bases loaded fuck up stranding 10 runners this series. Toe, the ute guy steps up again.

Girardi gets the boot. Good for him for continuing to question this incompetence.

Another umpire fuck up as segura running from outside baseline across baseline running on infield grass throwing up his arm and sliding on infield grass interfering with didi's throw clearly interference. So what happens is the crew chief at second mike everett somehow doesn't see it and to make matters worse it gets reviewed and the 3 blind mice rule in NY no interference somehow either probably to protect the crew chief's ass. As a result girardi goes ballistic and rightfully so and gets ejected. Put some more wristbands on umps. YOU ALL SUCK!!!

...yeah, I mean he had a legit beef...how is it that these freaking Umps can't get a call right even with the benefit of instant replay?...it was very clear that the baserunner went WAY out of his way to disrupt Gregorius's relay to 1B.

...I don't blame Girardi for going berserk.

...no one will ever confuse Headley's defense at 1B with Teixeira's.

I like it when Girardi gets fired up, supports his team, and gets in the other guys face weather opponent or umpires. All remaining games are important enough to state ones case when called for.

Read commentary from a Mariners Fan wondering why Yankee Fans booed Cano. Stated that Cano "worked his tail off" here and deserved better treatment. Further stated that when Griffey came back Mariner Fans gave him (Griffey) standing O's. I don't remember Griffey moving on to the Reds and sniveling about how he was treated up there. I don't think many Yankee Fans were miffed by Cano going to Seattle, its how he sniveled about being disrespected that set off the fans ire. In addition he was well paid for his services.

I don't care how bad Bird might be against LHP, Frazier is equally incompetent against ALL pitchers. I'd rather ALWAYS have Headley at 3B and Bird at 1B regardless of who is pitching.

Gotta credit Tanaka to this point, he's coming from behind in counts to get people out. He may have just a smidgen of the lucky horseshoe up his butt!

This team simply freezes up when the bases are juiced. The Yankees should have a couple more runs that what is showing on the score board. So Cleveland plays rival no problem, crushing Kansas City 12-0. Baltimore still ahead of Boston.

Caleb finally gets one right protecting a nine run lead nice game for Tanaka Yankees win. Now hoping Baltimore can hold off Boston.

The Red Sox making it interesting with another loss. Back to two games back in the loss column.

Cleveland will be a tough assignment, Boston draws Toronto. Hopefully the Yankees can pick up another game. For the Red Sox Series the only pitching match up totally fouled is game four with Sale vs Garcia. On that one you'd worry about Garcia screwing the pooh. The Yankees I think respect not fear Sale. For all the alleged hoopla on how good Boston is the Yankees still hold the season series lead so they have played Boston tough.

Too bad about some of the blown games against them but those things do happen in a 162 game season.

...Bird is just coming back from rehab...I don't think it's smart to just throw him in there every day at this point.

...the Yanx face another lefty in Kluber on Monday...I'd be surprised if he starts then too. And though Frazier is not an offensive beast, I wouldn't call a career OPS of .826 vs LHed pitching exactly "incompetent".

At full strength I'm glad the Yankees have some lineup options and a pretty solid bench. They have a good shot to make one more run at taking this division. We can only hope right?

...Mess, moving forward, I like the Yanx's chances vs Boston down the road and the PS...Sale has not proven to be the Yanx'x kryptonite and with Tanaka and CC pitching better along with Gray and Severino, I think we have a shot...especially if we can somehow win the division.

...I just hate the one game "win and you're in" WC format.
