Was hoping to go 4-2 on this west coast trip. Ended up 3-3. We have the twinkies for 3 in minny to finish off this road trip. They are usually the gift that keeps on giving so...there's that. Maybe a sweep there?:smiley-bonk:

No question. Maybe we are overrating these Yankees. They are very good, but all year they have played
down to their opponents........most of whom are under .500 teams. One thing we know for sure.
Bad teams are very capable of beating good teams.

Can't be angry about what going to he a 100 win team but let's face it. Five teams in the AL are .500. Nine in the NL for comparison purposes.

Rick 2583 was here for a couple of years, and from what I've heard fell in love with some girl who took all his toys away. Seriously, she saw his life was engulfed in social media; and made him stop all forms of Social Media, i.e. FB, this board et al.

Some I recall- Rajun Cajun (elder lady from Luzianne), Bozman (Ky) was here for a very very short hello, Cougar (Pa), and quit a few others, but my minds slipping (what's new), -

Feel free to add others anyone...

59 met both munson and I forget the other (slip of the mind) and attended a ballgame with both. 59 story of that game, moreso being in traffic is worth the read IF and too many trolls hijacking that BSPN board, (bs for bullshit and/or (Boston)...

Does anyone recall this classic, Howard Stern and Co pranking (overtaking his call-ins) with Falcon's little radio show, which never had much of anyone calling in anyway...

Great teams are consistent beating bad teams often worse than good teams...never playing down to another. Weird team this one, playing like superman vs Boston, Houston, Cleveland, then shittin' the bed vs:

Tampon Bay 7-8
O's 10-6 (the very worst team in MLB)
Miami 2-2
Detroit 4-3
Tejas 4-3
Mets 3-3
CHWsx 4-2 (see KC**)
Kansas Shitty even 5-2 was **unacceptable

Thats all I can remember. It was almost 20 years ago.

YES! I remember that. Jonah supposedly had a huge pen!s and was somehow, inside the NYC sex scene. lol.
 
Game Recap-

#1- too many men LOB & too many stranded w/RISP. Still living and dying by the long ball. No discipline to play small ball. Mariners won this one playing small ball. Great teams play every kind of sort of ball there is to play. Long ball small ball, hit and run ball. Take your base on balls.

#2- Doncha know- screw you too Robinson Cano...(been waiting this entire series to say that much)....

Or one could literally say the New York sex scene was inside of him, Doh- :hcp:

I referred to Falcon on that board as chknshtfkr and got away eith it, imo due to even the Mods not caring for his know it all &/or his warped mentallity...
