Lasagna vs. Hernandez

Lineups to follow...

Loaisiga gets the nod tonight. It’s only his 2nd major league start since being called up fron the Trenton
Thunder, the Yankees AA farm club. Hope he can continue to progress in his starter role. His task will
not be easy. He will be pitching against Seattle’s best pitcher, “King Felix”.....Felix Hernandez.

Tough assignment for Loaisiga early on but if he keeps it close the Yankees have a good chance of winning. Yankees are 21-9 against Teams playing better than .500. Let that trend continue. Saw Stanton talking shit on "Quick Pitch" this Am. Sorry Neanderthal you got to start hitting with runners aboard to impact this season. There is no "Kings" Court" in Yankee Stadium but there is a Judges' Chambers, be nice if Judge pops a couple this evening.

Hicks -CF
Judge -RF
Gregorious -SS
Stanton -DH
Torres -2B
Sanchez -C
Bird -1B
Andujar -3B
Frazier -LF

Frazier is the future, glad to see him in the lineup. there is a lot of "Wally Pipp" movement with this '18 Yankees Team. Play the best sit the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The kid’s in a pickle......wow, DP......and he works out of trouble. I like his moxie!

Note to Judge; When on 2B, make sure the ground ball gets through the infield before taking off for 3B.

HP Ump (Hoye) rated #14th in favoring a Hitters K-Zone.

1st Telecast of Johnny Lasagna in SoCal.

Lasagna looks more like agita, inning two he escapes again......whew!

Note to Lasagna; If you're gonna continue to allow the leadoff batter to get on, there's only so many time you can do it before it bites you in the ass.

Two on one out and it’s Andujar. Bad luck.....right at Seager, their 3rdB. Come on, Clint. A wasted
opportunity.

2 (very) hard hits off of King Felix-version II, Sanchez & Bird.

Weird 2C Felix not throwing in t/upper 90s.

Brooks Nails Boyer Andujar...!!!

I vividly remember listening to the WS on the radio in '64 between the Yanx and Cardinals. The Yanx were leading in game 4 that would have put them up 3 games to 1...the Clete's Brother Ken Boyer hit a Grand Slam...I was crushed. Instead it tied the Series 2-2 and the Cardinals went on to win it all in 7 games.
