Heard Boone in an interview saying Cessa had "good stuff" he just lacked command. mad no sense to me. On Betances his idea was to keep Dellin on target with the hitters and not worry about the guy on base. . Not sure how he (Boone) intends to fix their problems. I think if I were Cashman I'd look into the possibility of acquiring one of those free agent pitchers at a reasonable rate of pay and service time. I like the position player team but am still a bit shaky on the pitching.

It's funny to listen to managers talking about their players while being careful not to hurt their feelings...a player can flat out suck but the managers/GMs will spin their opinion on the player in a way that makes the player seem much better than he is.

seems to me Betances is throwing across his body, especially when he's throwing inside to a righty, or outside to a lefty. Almost looks like the delivery of a screwball, but obviously isn't a screwball.
