Talk around New York is filled with rumors between the Yankees & Mets.......’you give us a pitcher, then you give us
Torres or Andujar. I say, “No f’king way”. Mets will never trade with Yankees, especially of such magnitude.
With Cashman, he’s the wild card GM. With him you never know. If he ever let’s either of these two gems go in a
trade, lynch mobs may come after him!

I don't think it will happen Cage.
 
At this point like sweeney murti said both torres and andujar are no longer prospects on a team that is going deep in the playoffs but contributing regulars. These types of trades don't include players that are on current 25 man rosters and especially those that are contributing starters. The yanks have plenty of prospects to trade and satisfy a team with a top starting pitcher such as frazier, drury, austin, floral, acevedo and adams just to name a few of the seemingly endless list of yankee prospects on this loaded farm system. Cashman has not only FINALLY realized but implemented said strategy. And down on the farm their doing a great job at development as when they come up to the big club they all seem ready to play. It remains to be seen if the mets will put their phobia with the yanks aside and take advantage of 4 or 5 prospects from this golden system that their team now desperately needs for Degrom as their young players are mediocre at best and their current farm system is barren and non existent. Someone will get some good players from the yanks for that good pitcher if the mets don't.

^^^^ maybe t/Yanx can demote Dingleberry to a "prospect", and package him in a brown bag deal, i.e. brown bag over his head; making him impossible to identify...

I'd like to see Drury, Adams and Walker first to go. How long can Bird hold up?
Is there any market at all for Drury and Walker?

I take it you have never had a Jacoby Dingleberry poster on your wall-?? Me neither... :biglaugh:

Amazon has not had the Dingleberry Fathead in approximately two years, out of stock", as if anyone would want one, as if anybody plans on re-stocking-doh-!!

Imagine how MLB & Yankee merchants must think and feel being stuck with a warehouse full of Dingleberry posters, baseball cards figurines and other items...
