Caught yesterdays game on ESPN Gamecast. The post game recap stated that Gardner nade one hell of a catch in the 7th inning but was not shown in the video highlights. Gardner still like a cokroach can't get rid of him but he still can come back with a surorise. Like the man or dislike one thing is true, he's the only Yankee out there with a ring from a Yankee Championship. Lets hope for a good game from that Yankee kid pitching today!

Kinda excited to see Deivi Garcia vs big league hitters read a lot of positives about this kid...small in stature but his stuff has been very impressive and he's averaging 12.4 SOs per 9 innings.

Depleted batting lineup, poor relief pitching, and questionable coaching decisions were the perfect formula for the Yanx' 7 game losing streak...tough to watch.
Though their hitting was still anemic, they finally won their first game in 2 weeks...2 WEEKS ! (seems ages since sweeping the Red Sox).
Here's the last 8 games in a nutshell; >>>>RUNS PER GAME; 3, 2, 5, 1, 1, 4, 3, 2. HITS PER GAME; 5, 4, 10 (still lost), 2, 5, 8, 5, 5
No way around it, it's been "uglier than farting in church".

A smigeon of luck is sometimes needed and was received yesterday. That move Kratz made in conjunction with Dellins pitch turned out nice.

Hicks got a paycheck that exceeded his abilities. Yankees should have let him walk.

Boners knees are probably starting to knock. He knows that on paper the Mutts have the pitching advantage and the teams offense is sputtering like a Fifties outboard motor!

Sanchez up with men on base opponents are not scared.
This is what happens when you build a lineup whose only major attribute is the HR. This team needs more Tauchman and DJs and less Stantons and Sanchez and Voits. Yes, the HR is great, but when you’re hitting solo shots and no one can get on base, and you’re not making the pitcher throw a lot of pitches because you’re up there acting like a 10 year old swinging at a piñata in hopes of candy, you see this type of result. I told my buddy when we got Stanton that was an awful move because we were becoming a HR or nothing team then. We have only gotten WORSE as a team since then. Until Cashman brings in table setters not just table clearers we won’t win shit. Factor that in with BaBoone constantly floundering around with the bullpen and starting pitching and making a bad lineup worse, and you have what we have seen this year.
Hicks, Gardner and Sanchez need to be gone next year. I’d love to trade Stanton but that won’t be able to happen. Judge simply CANNOT be signed for a mega deal like he will probably want as he’s too injury prone.
