Right on the money!! As much as I like andujar’s offense he is to the point that you hold your breath on any throws of his to first if he catches the ball. Seemed better earlier in the season. Boone may have to start replacing him defensively in 8th and 9th innings with a lead. Torres on the other hand is a very good fielder but gets in trouble when he nonchalant balls and mentallyzones out at times with regards to not covering bases

...yup, not sure what the problem is...I know they're both young, but still. Andujar's throwing mechanics could certainly be improved...but with Torres it seems like he just gets a little to lackadaisical at times, almost like Cano was prone to do...like you said, their offense speaks for itself but their defense is well, you know.

And the runs keep coming...Hey, BaBoone have Cole pitch another inning. What’s another run.

Mickey Mouse could strike out Stanton of late.

...bad news is, we'll probably have to face this hot Oakland team in a one game playoff game is the PS.

Amazing but I saw a blurb yesterday that compared on this date to last year this team is 14 games better. Boy, it doesn’t feel like it.

The way this team has been playing they don’t really deserve a playoff spot, but with such a hot start it’s almost guaranteed they’ll get in. As of right now, with the giant funk this team is in there is no way they win the WC game. All facets of their game is crap. Offense....crap. Pitching....crap. Defense.....crap.
Three “craps” and you’re out! LOL

A’s relief keeping Yankees in check. They’ve stopped hitting after 2nd inning. This is an ongoing trend....against good pitching.

Damn, caught off guard assumed West Coast game 10 PM Eastern start. What are the first three letter of assume. And the Yankees are getting their asses kicked again.

There is nothing clutch about this Yankee lineup.. First & second with one out in 7th inning...
and zilch on the board. And they haven’t even seen their best relievers, other than Trivino.

Can’t watch Stanton biting on pitches in the dirt....it’s as if he does not know the
strike zone.

Yankees can make it interesting all game long, but somebody has to get a hit for that to
happen.

Stanton has pretty much gone dead the last 10 game hows that for picking up his team. Men on base in ywo consecutive innings and all the Yankee hitters can do is fucking strike out.

Yankees have a total of 4 hits. That’s what good pitching does. I guess it does not matter whether they play
good or bad teams, they are in a hitting funk. Looks like they will go out quietly. Game is
mercifully over (even before it’s over!).

Getting tired of these people apologizing for the injured players. Fact, they are available for the games you need to play and win today, get fucking over it. Of course for Cahman it's another scapegoat behind Boners poor management that gives him job security. Wasn't there a thing called the Peter Principle, promote to the level of incompetence.

Down at the shore in NJ The Yankees need stimulation!View attachment 22194

Is this the same as "Taylor Ham". My Wife's relatives from Maine, Boston (unfortunately) and our Son in Jersey often send Taylor Ham out to us. Tho' I noticed the last batch was simply labeled Pork Roll.

Only thing I like better is Cajun Sausage.

Note: the only legit "Cajun Sausage" can ONLY be found in Luzianna. One literally has to order it from a Luzianna bucherie and fly it in. Every freaking state I've been to that has supposed Cajun Sausage, is simply fooling themselves....and Louisiana Hot Links are a joke...

I am watching Jacob DeGrom pitch, without his best stuff & toughing it out, against the LA Dodgers. He’s only given up 2 hits. Point being.....his worst performance(109 pitches in 6) for him, there is not one Yankee starter & that includes Severino whose best performance would not match up with DeGrom...every 5 day starts.Wow. Wish the Yankees had this kid in their system. Just saying

It is a pleasure to watch a starter, though not at his best, throw 2 hit baseball & keep his
team in the game.

Amen, only wish the Mets would of been reasonable in a trade for deGrom. But in their distorted eyes, that was reasonable...

We can't use the DL as an excuse:
A's have 6 Pitchers on the DL, (2 with TJ, 1 w/Rotator Cuff, 2 are designated to return by mid-Sept)??

A's were 11.5 back, now 2.5 behind Houston

Whoever would of guessed a kid who wasn't on the roster Opening Day, and not from S/W-Barre, would be our 1st Baseman.

Wonder when the Bird experiment will come to a close?
