We dodged a huge first inning bullet...no thanx to Gallo...struck out looking with the bases loaded then starts the 1st inning on defense with an error.

Trevino of all people with the big blow tonight. Three run homer as it's currently 4-1 Yanks.

Severino is in attack mode. Looks sharp. Giving up 1 hit thru 5 complete.

Time and again Rizzo keeps saving Donaldson’s bad throws. Still 4-1 Yankees, bot 8 with
Chad Green pitching.

I'll say it again, can't wait until Chapman's contract is up after this year.

26-9 matches their 1998 record after 35 games.

With all the rule changes in baseball, it has taken away decisions by managers. And for the Yankees
that is a blessing. Would never want to see Chapman coming in to protect a one run lead, but BaBoone
will get no help from MLB……

I'm still trying to figure out why we still have this dumbass extra innings rule of starting the inning with a runner on 2B....WTF?

^^^^agree. Example of baseball going down that stupid road to attract people with short attention spans
and impatience to sit through an extra inning game. Baseball has taken the cost-effective route to make the
game more acceptable to a quick outcome audience who has no patience to watch or sit through a long extra
inning game. Rule change by rule change these geniuses are destroying the Game as it should be played.

I believe it's out after this season but I don't know why they kept it for this season. It's not baseball.
